prayers for tumor/question

Good evening,
I was just diagnosed with a pituitary tumor. It is, as far as I know, not cancer. However, I'm getting my labs done on Monday, and if they come back abnormal for the second time, I may have to have neurosurgery or begin a medication that has some really serious (life changing) side effects. I would really appreciate some prayers for this. Secondarily, all of my college plans are falling apart due to the likelihood that I will not be able to go to the college I had planned on attending, so please pray that God gives me discernment here.
My question is if I am sick enough for anointing of the sick yet. However, that is secondary, and one hail Mary would really mean a lot if you could pray for me.

Prayers ascending! Pituitary tumors are nearly always benign. What I was taught is: "It is not cancer until a pathologist states that it is cancer." Over the past 17 years, I have received 21 chemotherapy and targeted anti-cancer drugs. I am still here and all three cancers are gone.

Prayers ascending here as well.

As to your question about anointing of the sick, the best bet would be to ask a priest. Under the post-Vatican II norms, you would probably be able to receive AOTS. It no longer has to be a life-threatening condition, as it did back in the day.

Prayers in this hard time. please let us know how it goes with the labs.
