Pam- Stop asking him if he wants to go. When you’re going, just tell him that’s where and you’ll see him later. He knows you want him to go, and I believe he will come around and go on his own. After all, he has to decide it on his own anway.I never nag him, I ask him everytime I go if he would like to go with me. The answer is always no, and I never question him. I have talked to him about his need to make confession. He wants to go downtown to the Cathedral so that he can go in the “old” confessional box. So, I have encouraged that.

Another Saint! Praise God in Heaven.Praying for your husband. It took more than 40 years of my mother’s prayers to get my father to go back to the Church. Never give up.

Pam, let’s pray it doesn’t take 40 years! But, even if it does, let’s keep it going. For this we pray to the Lord. R: Lord, hear our prayer.Thank you all so much for your continued prayers.
God Bless you all! I’ve seen so many prayers answered
after they have been posted on CAF. I have faith that mine will be one of those answered prayers one day soon.
Pam
AMENLord, You have seen Pam’s family bear up through the test of fire in what they have endured. Rather than drive him away, You graciously provided Pam’s husband with a reason and excuse to attend the greatest celebration in the history of man. Out of pure Love and Mercy, send Your Holy Spirit upon him, creating that gnawing desire in his soul which will lead him home to full communion. May he swallow his pride without choking and confess that which You have patiently waited to forgive. And, once the seed of Your Son’s Precious Body is planted in fertile soil, once he is refreshed in the peace which Your Son gave us, may he desire it as the Source of his sustenance. We ask this through the same Christ, our Risen Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia! Please pray for him to finally go to confession. It has been about 30 years.
