Please forgive me if this sounds conceited. I do not wish it to be so, but I am well aware of how powerful prayer is.

This coming Friday, July 18th, I will be taking my MCAT examination at around 8:00AM. I’ve taken the test once, and I did well; yet medical school acceptance is competitive, and I’m afraid that it might not be enough on my part (as the rest is in God’s hands).

I’m nervous, most especially because the entirety of my future career almost depends on this one test.

With that, I ask that if it’s not too much trouble, could you please pray for me?

Thank you.

Heavenly Father, smile upon JLongoria and shine Your Heavenly Countenance upon this soul. We pray that Your Divine Mercy will be cast down from Heaven, causing a restoration of peace, faith and trust in You, O Lord. Since You know every heart, grant that JLongoria submit to the exam with the confidence befitting a lover of Christ. May a gentle peace flow from on high, providing the reassurance that love surrounds the fervent believer at all times of their lives. Graciously restore peace, provide confidence and lead with patience and love in this time of uneasiness. We ask this through Christ Jesus, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Father, please guide this person
as they begin the test on Friday.
Hold them up and grant them the
ability to use the knowledge they have
aquired to pass this exam. Remove
the anxiety and replace it with confidence.
AMEN

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for JLongoria a like favour in the examinations for which he is now preparing. In return we promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Amen.

Thank you all very much for your intentions.

The test is Friday morning, so after I get out, I’ll be sure to come back here and let you all know how it went.

Again, I thank you from the very bottom of my heart.

God bless.

The power of prayer is undoubtedly real.

I kid you not: the test was mostly over material I had just been looking at last night. Some of the physics questions still gave me trouble, but there was much more chemistry (I’m a senior chemistry major, lab teacher’s assistant, and chemistry tutor), and the biology and organic chemistry section was so fun.

I walked out of the test feeling at least as good as I felt walking out the first time I took the test, and that’s because I didn’t do all that bad that time!

Thank you Lord Jesus, as Your love sweeps away every anxiety! Your mercies flow like unstoppable rivers for those who seek repose in Your Sacred Heart! Blessed be the Spirit of the Lord that grants peace in times of anxiety!

Thank you, Our Lady of Good Studies, loyal and faithful servant of the Lord, for your intercessions on my behalf! And thank you, dear St. Joseph of Cupertina, for your intercessions.

And thank you all, my friends, for your intercessions.

I appreciate it with all my heart. Your faith has helped me on this day. :gopray:

Our faith would perhaps have been for naught without yours. Praise the merciful Lord God in Heaven! Amen! Alleluia!
