Prayers requested for Fr. John Prakash

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I ask you all to pray for the repose of the soul of Father John Prakash - murdered in Nepal a few days ago.

Please pray for the terrorists who did this - may they repent completely of the hatred in their hearts and pledge never to harm anyone else.

Please pray for the 7 000 Catholics in Nepal who have been affected by this tragedy on their doorstep.

Please pray for the staff and pupils of Don Bosco School, who have lost their principle.

I will pray for the repose of his soul and for all of your other intensions. Lord have mercy.
 
Eternal rest grant unto Fr. John Prakash, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Father, forgive the men who took Fr. John from this world and from the Catholics in Nepal who looked to him for guidance in their faith. Show them mercy, soften their hearts, and ultimately turn them toward You in a spirit of repentance and conversion. :gopray:

Have mercy on us all: my God, please grant us the wisdom to know your will and the faith to carry it out. praying for Fr. John and all those that have died while serving the Lord. may the students come through this ordeal stronger in faith. i pray that those that committed this violent act will truly repent.

Incline Thine ear, O Lord, unto our prayers,

to show Thy mercy upon the soul of Thy servant Father John Prakash, whom Thou hast commanded to pass out of this world,
that Thou wouldst place him in the region of peace and light,

Father in Heaven, accept Father John, a blessed servant, into Your embrace. Out of love of You, he is now praying even for those who took his life. As tragic as this loss is, it is counted as gain in Your Kingdom. Lord, how can we deny your house such a loving soul? We mourn, but Heaven celebrates. Heavenly King, You know the needs of every heart, having created each of them. Graciously provide for the school which has lost its principal, but which has now gained a Patron Saint! We turn to You in love, trusting You in all things. Grant this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!
