I ask for all of your prayers for my dear mother. The last time that she Confessed her sins was over 50 years ago! I have been coaching her and am taking her to church with me tomorrow where Confessions will be heard but she is still very scared to go through with it.

Please pray that she have the courage to Confess her sins tomorrow to the priest.

I thank you all for your prayers.

Peace

I will pray for this intention. I recommend that you pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and **ask **them to obtain this favour for you.

**The powerful intercession of the Holy Souls in Purgatory for their
benefactors: **

The web page has accounts of the intercession of The Holy Souls in Purgatory, for their benefactors in cases of illness, addictions, cars that won’t start, infertility problems, protection in accidents, their help for people who are experiencing major trouble with city councils, success with projects, finding lost property and trouble with relations, etc. and prayers and ideas on how to help The Holy Souls in Purgatory.

I will pray for this intention. It may be wise to schedule an appointment for confession so she won’t feel rushed.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
In Jesus through Mary

Steve is correct. Most priest like a little notice when they are getting a confession after a few years… especially after 50 years. I will be praying for her. You have done good!
God Bless

Peace, Faith and Love, remind your beloved mother that she is spiritually burdened carrying the weight of her sin. In each of those 50 years, the Lord has patiently waited beside her to take the sin from her and destroy it. He has sent a willing heart, in the person of the priest, who will take her sin away, make it his own, and bear it up to the Lord, who will destroy it. The priest pours himself out like a libation while doing this, out of love of God and of your mother. And, so I pray:

Merciful and Heavenly Lord, you created PFA’s mother as part of Your Divine plan. You have revealed your unfathomable love for her through your patience with her. Mercifully grant her the courage, the desire to be free from sin, and to praise Your Holy Name forever and ever. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, who suffered and died so that sinners might have eternal life. Amen.

UPDATE: I took my mom to church this evening with me. After evening mass on Tuesday’s confessions are heard since the majority of the parishioners that attend evening mass are senior’s who confess regularly. I thought it would be good to bring my mom since there was 100% chance of her getting confessed.

After mass the priest announced that Confessions would be heard for the parishioner’s Dec. 22nd to give them a chance to confess before Christmas and I felt crushed because I had wanted my mom to Confess. Well, my mom took one look at my face and saw how unhappy I was but what I wasn’t expecting was for her to personally seek out the priest and asked to be confessed! :bigyikes: The priest asked if I wanted to confess and I said “of course Father!” and then it was my mom’s turn.

I left my mom so she could Confess and prayed before the statue of Our Lady of Fatima asking her for my mother to make a good Confession. My mother came out some time later and looked so happy! I gave her a big kiss and then we went home.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!! I CAN’T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I FEEL RIGHT NOW AND THANK GOD THAT AFTER 50 YRS MY MOTHER FINALLY GOT TO MAKE HER CONFESSION. :clapping: :dancing: :extrahappy: 😃

Peace

Praise God in Heaven! The burden lifted, the pain eased, the Lord smiling. It’s a win-win.

Christ’s peace!
