After speaking to one of my truck driver friends, He told me that it cost him $600.00 to fill up his rig with diesel. That is for 100 gallons of it to keep him driving. We really need to keep this prayer going as much as we can because if we dont, then everything else such as our groceries and such will continue to skyrocket. Making it unbearable to live. These truckers that own their own trucks, have to pay for their own fuel and not get reimbursed for it. Please continue to pray for this. Do not allow it to slip down. Lord Have Mercy On The Working Man.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you Jesus for the government here finally stepping in on Capital Hill and questioning the oil tycoons. Please help there be a positive outcome in favor for us.

Amen.

Continuing to pray…

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Deal Lord, you know that this situation is getting worse when even the truck drivers are parking their trucks and not driving because the cost of petroleum is getting out of hand. They said on the news at noon that they are having to spend out of pocket expenses of $1,500 a week just to keep them on the road. Please have mercy on your working men. Please help our congress and government to get something worked out with these oil tycoons. Father we really are in need of your help to fight this war of high gas prices. Please help us. Heavenly Father,
it is symptomatic of our life today
that economics plays a large part in it.
People labor zealously for a wage
so that they can acquire the needs of life
for themselves and their families.
These fuel prices are creating problems
for all of us. Prices on every item continue
to increase due to the fuel cost.
We BEG you Father, help us!
AMEN

CAF Family I know you are getting tired of seeing me post this one but I just feel that if we continue to unite in prayer that God will hear our cries and come to the rescue like a Daddy does when His Children are hurting for one reason or the other. God, I am sorry if I am praying for this over and over but I just feel like it needs to be prayed for. God I can see you rubbing your ear saying my goodness child, dont you ever hush? Anyways. Please help us Your Children who are in dire need of making our ends meet and cannot do it with these gas prices being so high. So Daddy in Heaven… Please hear my prayer and touch the hearts of those in charge and please get us some much needed relief. Amen.

Amen.

Many of are struggling to stay afloat in these difficult economic times." Larger issues" like the economy are composed of “smaller issues”. How each of us lives has an effect not only on our own lives but the lives of those around us. We cannot complain about high gas prices as though they exist independently of other factors such as over consumption. God entrusted the world to everyone, not just Americans. All of us have an obligation to become informed about issues that affect our brothers and sisters around the world and find immediate, personal, non-beauracratic ways to help those in need while we work to change structures that keep people in poverty. Jesus didn’t engage people in political discussions, he called them to repent and to live their lives in service to God and others. Hopefully this will cause people to become involved in their community, locally and globally, and try to effect change that will allow everyone to enjoy life to some extent.
