Most often “Κυριε ελεησον, Χριστε ελεησον, Κυριε ελεησον”. I guess that makes 3 for Christ versus 2 for God-in-general.what member do you pray to or do you just pray to “God”

Definitely Jesus. My most common prayer: “Jesus I trust in You”.Most often “Κυριε ελεησον, Χριστε ελεησον, Κυριε ελεησον”. I guess that makes 3 for Christ versus 2 for God-in-general.
God loves you, and is not going to get upset about which human word you use as a form of address. Even in terms of attitude of address, there is more latitude than many people realise, because God is more than big enough to be able to cope with our misplaced anger.can I just pray to “God” instead of addressing a member of the trinity.sorry for this silly question but i just want to pray to "God"and i want to make sure its ok. thanks
Doesn’t matter - they are all one. I sometimes address Jesus, sometimes God.is it ok to just pray to “God” instead of praying to one specific member of the trinity
I agree; One God.it doesn’t matter which one when God is 3 in 1 or a trinity. Why have you asked this on 4 different threads?
1/2 to Our Lord and 1/2 to the Fatherwhat member do you pray to or do you just pray to “God”
Can you clarify your intent behind your question or at least be specific?is there a right or wrong way?
I sense you are trying to make a point. What exactly are you trying to assert here?is there a right or wrong way?
scborromeo.org/ccc.htmYup, this is detailed in The Catechism of The Catholic Church. If you don’t have one, I’d get it. I’ve seen them on Amazon for as little as $3
Um, what?I came from Mormonism where we were forbidden to pray to Jesus.
LDS do consider themselves to be Christian - but only because they don’t understand what Christianity is or what it means to be a Christian.Um, what?
Sorry, but I was under the impression that the LDS at least self-identified as Christian…
