Predestination me Where???????

I know this has been a topic spoke of much. My being a newbie I have been
thrown this concept at me by my old pastor which I have actually posted about. I dont know if Predestination is a touchy subject or not. I for one am so against what I know Calvins Idea of Predestination is…I think I am more interested in continuing the discussion
 
The Catholic Church absolutely believes in predestination - just not “double pre-destaination”. A God who wills the salvation of all men (Romans 5:18, 1 Timothy 2:4) would not pre-destine some of those same men to hell - this violates His very nature.

Get a copy of Catholicism for Dummies. It will answer these questions - and many more.

No the Church was Non Denom but more anti catholic and leaning Pentacostal…

I am still researching this whole Predestination thing. 🤷
