Princess_Abby:
Steph–pretty names!

I like Claire, but did you mean Anna Claire together? Either is pretty! I also like Julianne Rebecca. (My husband loves it spelled Rebekah.)
Thanks! I like Anna Claire together, either as a first name or first and middle. I love the name Claire but I don’t think it sounds good with our last name alone. I am pretty sure it’t a boy, though, so I haven’t been thinking too much about girls names.

We had our first sonogram yesterday! It was so exciting. The baby was just laying there for a minute, but then he stirred and we saw his little hands go up! It was so neat! I almost cried!

Due Oct. 22 with baby number 4. I will be lucky to make it to the first or second week of October because of my incompetant cervix.

Firstborn was a girl delivered at 31 weeks.
Second was a girl delivered at 36 weeks.
Third was a boy delivered at 37 weeks.
Fourth is another girl, I’m currently at 20.5 weeks along.

I’m a nervous wreck with everything that is happening with my situation right now. It could be worse…MUCH WORSE I have to keep reminding myself of that. I talked to the doc about how I’ve been feeling and she referred me to a therapist to talk things through. First time I’ve gone alone, been to one with my hubby for joint counseling, he’s gone by himself for personal issues as well (which he’s still dealing with and told me he can’t be there for me now…by now I should be used to it, he’s done this to me all through our 15 years together).

Baby is healthy and so am I physically speaking other than the cervix issue so I really should be grateful for that.

I’m thinking of naming her Anna Elizabeth or Graciana Lynn (or Rose). Jessalyn Grace was going to be our second daughter’s name but we named her Gabriella Joelle instead, and she lives up to the name Gabby. First daughter is Gianna Renee…my husband doesn’t like the name Grace (I do) and it would be kind of fun to keep the baby’s name a G name like her sisters. Plus the meaning of the name is important to me, silly I know, but it is. I like names that have Godly meanings but are not wacky sounding or hard to pronounce or spell.

Any suggestions?

I like Genevieve too but my hubby doesn’t. Then again, he doesn’t like much of what I like anyway 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hubby’s sister is Georgina…so was their aunt. The other names you listed are not quite it for me, but thank you for the suggestions! Hubby is Italian so the name has to sound good with our last name too, so I look at other spellings and such of names I like but that sound funny with our last name.

I still have 3 months or so before I deliver so we got time to come up with something. I’ll pray the Lord gives us the right name like He did with our second daughter. For months I had her name picked out but when she was born and I looked at her for the first time I knew that she was sent by God and she was given the name Gabriella instead.

God bless!

Epidemic…I’d like to catch it?!:gopray:

Sorry not registering, but I am hoping it will rub off! 🙂 We would love to be pregnant. In the mean time, I will pray for all of you and your families for a blessed pregnancy, delivery and life.

Just recently found out we’re pregnant with #5, due probably sometime next February. We now have - David - 9 yo, Nathaniel - almost 6 yo, Tiffany - almost 4 yo, and Colin 2 yo. Breastfeeding seems to do a good job spacing out our children. We homeschool and run our own family business - sometimes it can get a little crazy . Expecially now because we just lost our main baby sitter and only grandparent who would be overjoyed at more grandchildren from us, she just past away in April from breast cancer. My husband and I are happy to be pregnant again, but we probably won’t tell his dad or my parents that we are pregnant again until I start to show, they have all very sternly expressed that we should not have any more chidren. Help ! Any suggestions, other than prayer - but please do for us.
God Bless,

I get that all the time from family and friends. I’m pregnant with #4 and everyone wants to know if it will be hubby or me that will “get fixed”. If it ain’t broke, it don’t need no fixin’.

Stand your ground no matter how many rude comments or disgusted looks you may get. One lady we know would not back off AT ALL about me getting my tubes tied. She outright said I was nuts. Then she said that my husband needs to stay away from me. I laughed, told her I’d see her later, and walked away since my family was waiting for me.

This came from someone who has 3 bi-racial children, all out of wedlock, with different dads.

Sometimes people just don’t get it. And I’m just beginning to get it…kids are great, just a lot of work, but great nonetheless.

Hi! Our sixth child is due in January. We like suprises, so we will wait. We have three boys (13, 4, almost 2) and two girls (8,6). We are delighted to be blessed again–I turned 40 last year!

Wow, there are lots of pregnancies here now! I hope everybody is doing great!!!

I’m due to have my first around Christmas. We chose not to find out the sex.

Bump the thread:

Mrs. Clskier and I are expecting in mid April. Still very nervouse as we lost our first 4 months ago. We are so excited that we started telling friends and family already. Yeah God!!!

In another thread in Family Life, Jennifer talks about her miscarriage earlier this week. She is understandably upset. Our prayers would surely be appreciated.
