In the last four years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation’s history. Metaphorically speaking, if you are driving in the right lane going 65 MPH and a car rockets past you in the left lane going 27 times faster, it would be doing 1,755 MPH!

Results are based on telephone interviews conducted as part of Gallup Daily tracking Oct. 9-15, 2012, with a random sample of 3,187 registered voters, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

National polls aren’t really that helpful. President Obama will have at least a 20 electoral vote edge before the first ballot is even cast. It will all come down to a handfull of states, WI, PA, OH, FL, VA, NC, maybe CO and NV.

I never put to much faith in polls, good or bad, just for reasons like this.
 
On a more serious note, many of us prior to the first Presidential debate offered up our prayers for the intention of a successful debate. My wife and I are offering Vespers for the intention of another Romney debate victory. I invite you to join me in the form of prayer that you prefer.

I won’t watch the Debate…I’ll be praying my Rosary and then watching a DVD or something else.
