As a population-yupDonāt care. I had no (name removed by moderator)ut into it. It is a document that abides by the consent of the governed. What if the governed donāt consent?
Did any of the current population have any (name removed by moderator)ut into the document? We the peopleā¦who ratified itā¦died 200+ years ago. Why should I be bound to something that was relevant then, but may not have any bearing anymore and that I had no say in? I am bound to a piece of vellum and ink, written by a few dozen old rich guys, many of whom had animosity toward my Catholic faith, who were not dealing with the issues we are today. As a population-yup
As an individual-nope![]()
Romney may not be able to get abortion illegel, but Obama may try to get rid of those who servive an abortion.Whatās the difference? Abortion? I can guarantee you that neither is going to do anything about making it illegal. We have to do the job and convince others that it is murder.
Careful what you wish for. Our liberal friends would love to rewrite the Constitution, and it would be to our detriment.Did any of the current population have any (name removed by moderator)ut into the document? The Constitution is a nice piece of history. It needs to be rewritten.
Interesting. So sad many voters will be turned away because they donāt own an ID.
Boy, I donāt know about this map. It shows my state (Mo) āleaningā Romney. I think I know my state, and Obama is going to get mashed here this time around. He will get St. Louis City, Jackson County and Boone County more likely than not. Maybe one more in the old ālead beltā. Everywhere else, he will get crushed, including in the metropolitan counties of St. Louis which have a bigger population by far than the City.
It isnāt a document that floated down from heaven. The founders were smart, but they arenāt the last smart people to ever exist. Thomas Jefferson believed that we should have a convention every 20-30 years so that the foundation of the law would always remain current. It also gives āWe the Peopleā a chance to press the reset button on all of this cumbersome over-regulation and tax stranglehold politicians have on the country. And then rewritten. And then rewritten. And then rewritten.
The Founding Fathers were geniuses and a blessing of God on this nation, in particular, and on mankind, in general.
The Declaration and Constitution were the two greatest political documents ever written and, I daresay, ever to be written. We tamper with the Constitution to our great peril.
They wouldnāt do it in a vacuum. It would also give us a chance to redefine the nation. If it was in Californiaās (or Texas, or all of New England, as examples) best interest to split off and form their own nation, may God bless their endeavors (as an example).Careful what you wish for. Our liberal friends would love to rewrite the Constitution, and it would be to our detriment.
Yep. Iāve seen some Facebook posts that are just plain juvenile. In fairness, Iāve seen some regarding Obama now and then, as well, but really? āBinders?āThis is a sign of desperate time in the Obama campaign headquarters.

We are witness to a desperate candidate who once again just doesnāt understand the real issues and solutions. This is a sign of desperate time in the Obama campaign headquarters.

If there are problems with the binders, check with these ladies.

Maybe a Constitutional Convention every 20 years might not have been such a bad idea. Now, we just rely on 9 Jusices to change it whenever they take a notion to!It isnāt a document that floated down from heaven. Thatās only because the Supreme Court has been politicized, which is unfortunate and not what the founders envisioned.Maybe a Constitutional Convention every 20 years might not have been such a bad idea. Now, we just rely on 9 Jusices to change it whenever they take a notion to!
