Astute observation.Wow. I can’t believe 90+% would say their conscience tells them to vote for a pro-abortion pro-embryonic stem cell research politician on a Catholic forum.
Reform to prevent the massive amount of voter fraud that happened in 2008 from happening again.Has been an overwhelming loss of registered voters in Cuyahoga
So freeing the slaves in the Civil War…that was an unjust war?Any war that the US has been involved in? Only the Revolutionary War. I would say WWII but Roosevelt egged on the Japanese.
In a lot of cases (I’m not just talking about on here), it’s not the conscience but the pocketbook or being popular feeling that does it.Wow. I can’t believe 90+% would say their conscience tells them to vote for a pro-abortion pro-embryonic stem cell research politician on a Catholic forum.
The Crusades happened in the past 2,000 years didn’t they? The Crusades were all justified under the Jus Ad Bellum [Just War Theory], and were sanctioned by the Church as a means of self-defense. Moslem invaders had already conquered a full Two Thirds of all Christendom (66% of Christian lands were at one time Moslem). Not really.
Actively waging war just causes death. It’s evil.
I suppose there have been instances in the past 2000 years when people had no choice but to fight.
Like ancient resistance to invasions by hordes from Asia…
Or anti-communist uprisings…
Still, those instances were more cases of self defense than “waging war”.

Amen. Virgil Goode best represents Catholic values. Good Catholics would readily see that if they would read the Constitution Party platform: constitutionparty.com/party_platform.phpVirgil Goode, but I’ll have to write him in. Otherwise Gary Johnson.
If Obama wasn’t in office and the Constitutional Party actually had a chance the I would vote for Virgil Goode.Amen. Virgil Goode best represents Catholic values. Good Catholics would readily see that if they would read the Constitution Party platform: constitutionparty.com/party_platform.php
Sad indeed.Since this poll was explicitly:
• not the election
• a conscience vote
• anonymous
Did you vote for Goode?
Or do some truly have a clear disability with overcoming the “third party can’t win” conditioning that they cannot even vote their conscience in a completely anonymous and irrelevant poll?
Sad

I vote with my conscience and my conscience says vote Romney, because Obama’s Socialist policies, abysmal foreign policy, persecution of the Church and overwhelming support for abortion has to go.Since this poll was explicitly:

Understandable, austenbob- you’re in a state where Romney still has a fighting chance.I vote with my conscience and my conscience says vote Romney, because Obama’s Socialist policies, abysmal foreign policy, persecution of the Church and overwhelming support for abortion has to go.
My conscience tells me to vote for Romney - because its the right thing to do.Since this poll was explicitly:

Public opinion doesn’t affect my decisions, if it did, I wouldn’t be Catholic in the first place.Since this poll was explicitly:
• not the election
• a conscience vote
• anonymous
Did you vote for Goode?
