It really is as simple as that. Nicely stated, sir.The immediate problem is defeating Obama. Mitt Romney is our best chance for that. Casting a vote for anybody else is a vote for Obama. My conscience tells me that a man who would vote four times, as Obama did while a Senator, to allow children born alive after a failed abortion, to die, is evil.
Romney is not perfect - all of them are far from perfect - but Romney is our best chance for getting our country back on an even footing, economy-wise, and getting us back to Constitutional and Judeo-Christian principles on which this country is based.
And Mitt Romney has said that he wants Roe V Wade to be overturned. Yet you question Romney’s sincerity and take at face value the words of the Ayatollah? That says it all.
- The Ayatollah has said that the possession of nuclear weapons is a grave sin.
Not yet. Hopefully we can keep the country whose leader said he wants to “wipe Israel off the map” from getting nuclear weapon.
- Iran does not even have a nuclear weapon.
I don’t know… how many suicide terrorist attacks are perpetrated by North Koreans? How many are perpetrated by radical Islamists? How many radical Islamists live in Iran? There is your answer.
- If North Korea is not stupid enough to use a nuclear weapon, what makes you think Iran is?
Not a direct attack that targets innocents. But I believe Israel would be justified in attacking Iran’s ability to complete a nuclear weapon - would be good to prevent another Jewish holocaust, don’t you think?Code:And besides, the fact that the government of Iran wants a nuclear weapon, whether or not that is true, does not justify the attack of the innocents in that country.
Excuse me, you brought up the issues such as the TSA and Romney - care to name two in reference to not voting for Romney because of the abortion issue. So that means you think they need to be weighed against the millions that will be slaughtered by abortion? Are the TSA and Romneycare reasons to not vote for Romney in spite of the pro-life nature of the Romney/Ryan ticket? In your post, you downplayed Romney’s pro-life stance and emphasized the TSA at airports and also Romney care. And when I raise the question of what’s more important to you: the TSA issue or abortion, you call it a strawman.I will correct you for being wrong. I had a whole list of issues, you only focused on the one that you thought was nonsensical, focused on that, and said it was laughable to compare that to something as awful as abortion. That’s a straw man.
And liberal friends of mine believe that no vote or a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Romney. Choose the belief you want to accept.Casting a vote for anybody else is a vote for Obama…
Politicians are known for saying anything in order to pander to a certain vote. Romney did not attempt to overturn Roe vs Wade when he was governor; I see no reason to believe that he would do so as president. And Mitt Romney has said that he wants Roe V Wade to be overturned. Yet you question Romney’s sincerity and take at face value the words of the Ayatollah? That says it all.
The claim that Ahmadinejad made this statement “wipe Israel off the map” has been debunked by many (commondreams.org/headline/2012/04/18-2), so it’s probably not a good idea to keep repeating it, as it sheds unfavorable bias against the Iranian government. Even if it were true however, it is not the business of the United States to decide who does and does not get a nuclear weapon. When you attempt to deny a nation the ability to defend itself, you unjustly leave it vulnerable to others. Not yet. Hopefully we can keep the country whose leader said he wants to “wipe Israel off the map” from getting nuclear weapon.
How many radical Islamists do live in Iran? Do you know?I don’t know… how many suicide terrorist attacks are perpetrated by North Koreans? How many are perpetrated by radical Islamists? How many radical Islamists live in Iran? There is your answer.
“Another Jewish holocaust”? What does this mean? Not a direct attack that targets innocents. But I believe Israel would be justified in attacking Iran’s ability to complete a nuclear weapon - would be good to prevent another Jewish holocaust, don’t you think?

Provide a link to a site that isn’t an untrustworthy left-wing blog and I just might look at it. Which country is threatening Iran so that it would want a nuclear weapon? The claim that Ahmadinejad made this statement “wipe Israel off the map” has been debunked by many (commondreams.org/headline/2012/04/18-2), so it’s probably not a good idea to keep repeating it, as it sheds unfavorable bias against the Iranian government. I don’t know. It is common knowlege, however, that Iran is a state supporter of terrorists. Do you think its a good idea for terrorist supporting countries to have nuclear weapons? How many radical Islamists do live in Iran? Do you know? How many suicide terrorist attacks are committed by Iranians on a regular basis?
What I mean, is that an Iranian attempt to “wipe Israel off the map” by nuclear weapons would mean another Jewish holocaust. I can understand Jews not wanting to let Iran getting a nuclear weapon.“Another Jewish holocaust”? What does this mean?![]()
You want to make an amendment to the Constitution to get rid of that office?I’m fine with giving no man such tremendous power as the presidency of the United States.
Getting closer and closer to:
Maybe not the entire office, but I would definitely limit its powers. The same goes for the entire federal government. It has too much power and it’s definitely a violation of subsidiarity. You want to make an amendment to the Constitution to get rid of that office?
It is a strawman because I mentioned the TSA, Romneycare, the Patriot Act, sanctions against Iran, NDAA, etc. It’s a strawman when you only deal with 1 of those issues and ridicule that 1 issue as being irrelevant compared to abortion.Excuse me, you brought up the issues such as the TSA and Romney - care to name two in reference to not voting for Romney because of the abortion issue. So that means you think they need to be weighed against the millions that will be slaughtered by abortion? Are the TSA and Romneycare reasons to not vote for Romney in spite of the pro-life nature of the Romney/Ryan ticket? You might be right. Obama’s abuse of czar appointments and regulatory activism supports your argument. I’ve always thought the federal government tramples the Constitution with respect to the 10th Amendment.Maybe not the entire office, but I would definitely limit its powers. The same goes for the entire federal government. It has too much power and it’s definitely a violation of subsidiarity.
He doesn’t want to defund Planned Parenthood. No one has proved that Iran is even making nuclear weapons. And Mitt Romney has said that he wants Roe V Wade to be overturned. Yet you question Romney’s sincerity and take at face value the words of the Ayatollah? That says it all.
That’s a misquotation. Not yet. Hopefully we can keep the country whose leader said he wants to “wipe Israel off the map” from getting nuclear weapon.
MAD prevented nuclear holocaust with Russia for many years, and they were a much greater threat than Iran is.I don’t know… how many suicide terrorist attacks are perpetrated by North Koreans? How many are perpetrated by radical Islamists? How many radical Islamists live in Iran? There is your answer.
Not a direct attack that targets innocents. But I believe Israel would be justified in attacking Iran’s ability to complete a nuclear weapon - would be good to prevent another Jewish holocaust, don’t you think?
Sanctions are directly targeting innocents.Ishii
Not according to NARAL:He doesn’t want to defund Planned Parenthood.
prochoiceamerica.org/elections/2012/gop-presidential-candidates/mitt-romney.htmlVowing to defund Planned Parenthood, former Gov. Romney wrote that he would “eliminate Title X family planning programs,” which includes federal funding for birth control and cancer screenings.
Right. Then why enrich uranium beyond 60%, or deny accesss to IAEA inspectors to those secret facilities? No one has proved that Iran is even making nuclear weapons.
Even if that is granted, how you you take his “disappear from the page of time” to mean? That’s a misquotation.
“Those who think they can revive the stinking corpse of the usurping and fake Israeli regime by throwing a birthday party are seriously mistaken,” Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by the official IRNA news agency.
“Today the reason for the Zionist regime’s existence is questioned, and this regime is on its way to annihilation,” he said.
afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5ix-viVGAnfS1RHJGzZHSGjnzDIXgAhmadinejad added that Israel “has reached the end like a dead rat after being slapped by the Lebanese” – a reference to the July-August 2006 war between Israel and the Shiite Hezbollah militia.
The Soviet Union wasn’t ruled by Shia Twelvers.MAD prevented nuclear holocaust with Russia for many years, and they were a much greater threat than Iran is.
Only if you read presstv.Sanctions are directly targeting innocents.

The uranium stockpile is under constant surveilance. The IAEA has concluded that they’re not weaponizing uranium, as did the 2011 NIE.Right. Then why enrich uranium beyond 60%, or deny accesss to IAEA inspectors to those secret facilities?
Not a threat to attack.Even if that is granted, how you you take his “disappear from the page of time” to mean?
Through grass-roots peace activism? It doesn’t help that Iranian leaders as far back as Kohmeni call Israel a ‘cancer that must be removed’, or any numerous comments:
Israel is not a signatory to the NPT and repeatedly refuses propositions for a Middle East Nuclear Weapons-Free Zone (MENWFZ) to be established as a means of ending the stand-off with Tehran, despite majority support from the Israeli public.

It was ruled by people like Stalin who literally killed his own citizens. The Soviet Union wasn’t ruled by Shia Twelvers.
No, sanctions affect everyone. No trade means whatever they were trading to get before they now no longer have. This means food supplies go way down, and that affects innocent civilians.Only if you read presstv.
Mmmkay. I don’t see where he proposes keeping funding for PP running.
Not weaponizing yet, but as the IAEA points out, continuing to process heavy water, enrich uranium past civilian use levels, nuclear payload research and “dual use” technology. The uranium stockpile is under constant surveilance. The IAEA has concluded that they’re not weaponizing uranium, as did the 2011 NIE.
Says who? Iranian proxies Hezbollah (and to some degree, Hamas) have a history of attacking Israel. Not a threat to attack.

But really had no desire to have the end of the world. The mullahcracy in Iran also has no problem killing its own citizens (see 2009 presidential election), with the added bonus of bringing about the “hidden Imam”.It was ruled by people like Stalin who literally killed his own citizens.
Do you actually know what the “sanctions” are? Its essentially an arms embargo, with some foreign assets frozen. I’m not sure how that causes Iranians to die in the streets of starvation. No, sanctions affect everyone. No trade means whatever they were trading to get before they now no longer have. This means food supplies go way down, and that affects innocent civilians.
