For Clarification- what is Heterodox?
One is “Heterodox” when one claims several things as true that are mutually contradictory. In this context, the person is saying both, “Everything that the Catholic Church holds and teaches is true,” and “The Church is wrong to teach that homosexuality is wrong.”

Thanks for the explanation 🙂 !

Why do you bother trying to understand such childish-sounding stuff? 🤷 This guy, well… again… why bother?? He or she obviously has some kind of anger problem, to say the least…
Anyway, i was wondering: Could u tell me how to highlight just one section of a Post to comment on? I can’t figure out how 2 do that…
Thanks and God bless…
Thanks for the help. God bless… 🙂

Actually, I’ve been thinking about my comments a little bit. Stooping to the level of someone making terrible claims isn’t really the best choice. It’s not fair to, when someone’s offensive comments make you feel bad, make offensive comments right back. While I was trying to make a point, it didn’t go over well and that’s my fault. I’m sorry, I don’t really mean to make anyone feel bad. Anyway, let the discussion go on without my infantile comments.
You are a big person to admit you were wrong. I wish more people on this forum would do that. Thanks. God bless…🙂

The above is confusing because it looks as if I posted this comment.

The best way to answer one of these posts is to click on quote box on the right hand side at the bottom of the post. A new window will open and the reference quote will be copied into the new box. To begin your remarks go to the bottom , just below the quoted text and start your reply.

If you want to put just a part of the reference post in quote format you can do so a couple of ways. One way is to copy and paste the desired text into your post response, then highlight it (hold down the right mouse button and drag the cursor to highlight all the text you just pasted in. Once highlighted go to the top of the window and click on the “Quote” icon (the one next to the left of the # sign). It should automatically put that text in a quote box. There are a couple of other ways that are probably a bit easier (but harder for me to explain), maybe someone with better skills than I can help you further.

If you want to put a quote box around something you are entering your can do it the same way, just highlight the text you want in the quote box and click on the icon. Again there are a couple of other ways that may be a bit easier to do but are a bit harder to explain.

Regarding the question you asked, we are on a Catholic web site and need to be as charitable as possible even with those that are on the forum to criticize and mock the faith. Ask yourself, “What would Jesus do.”

Wow, that was odd… But anyway, thank you for the info and i will try to do it right next time… 🤷 🙂

 This priest does not represent the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We need to go to that book

i often wonder about dissident priest, nuns, religious etc.
can’t their superiors do anything about it?
Could be their authoroty does not extend to the Diocese of Soddam & Gomorrah

Shocking!

My friend’s friend, A is an active homosexual. Yesterday he asked my friend, E to accompany him to a talk given by a Catholic priest in non-Catholic Church on homosexualty. I already felt that something wasn’t right, but I didn’t know how bad it was. So I told her to accompany him.

Today she came home angry, because the priest is a liberal priest! He disagreed with so many Catholic teaching (masturbation, homosexuality, ordination of women, etc). He said to have sex without love is wrong, but if 2 homosexual people, love each other, having sexual relationship isn’t wrong.

He continued saying that we should follow our conscience. A who thought that it was wrong, went home feeling good because he never knew that “the church approved it.”

I was so upset also, because I shouldn’t ask her to go. If she didn’t go, he wouldn’t go. I just feel so guilty.

Anyway, this is the link to the event, there is a few videos where the priest said that he hoped the teaching on homosexuality would change.

Let’s pray for him.

Hello My Friend, 🙂

Your most unfortunate priest has made himself a heretic and is out of communion with the Church, ie…excommunicated.

Take this up with your Bishop and Rome if need be. Maybe the priest needs to read the Catechism, appearently he hasent the slightest clue of what it actually says

Peace

I know, I really want to. But there’s not enough evidence for it. How I wish I was there to record something.

What about a bishop who approves of ordaining homosexuals knowingly and purposely? How about if he publicly is quoted in his advocacy?

Doesn’t he answer to anyone? Do the people of the Diocese bow in obedience and acceptance of a pro-homosexual bishop?

Can the bishop be reported to the Vatican? Is there a process to complain ?
