Is it just that I didn’t have my coffee yet, or he shouldn’t have been bailed out so quickly?? Another site said he was on the board of Covenent House where they take in teens from the streets.
I was looking at colleges for my girls and wish I didn’t see this but it also was gratifying to see where he worked before (in Philly) they put out a notice to others in case someone had something to say, not hiding it.
I will pray more for active and in-formation priests…they have a lot to deal with and it will be a long time before these scandals go away.

He needs to be immediately removed from any active ministry, and if found guilty, laicized.

Is this a priest of the Archdiocese of Denver. I do not think Archbishop Chaput will be very happy with him.

I agree, sick or not, it’s not whether he did it or not, it’s just how often and long.
I I know some students will be cynical, re the one that said, they should have given the 15,000 to them for aid, but he will need council, etc.
Every time I still read about these incidences, and of course they haven’t completely stopped, I cringe…I feel for all the good priests who have to carry these others on their shoulders.

To end these scandals the Priests who are found guilty need to be defrocked and offered up to the secular authorities for punishment. Bishops found guilty of rotating Priests in question or those covicted need to be removed and sent a rural monastery to serve out their terms in forced labor and prayer.

We should not be offering the Churches of our ancestors and the schools for our children for an organizational problem. Immigrants to America poured their life and souls into the Church and I for one wish to not see it destroyed by child molesters and cowards.
