I suggest you read through questions in the “Ask an Apologist” section of this Forum. Learn all you can so you can defend the Faith. There are a lot of Catholics “out here” that do not know our Faith. They have been affected by watching TV, etc. and influenced by the secular society.

Learn your Faith! It is so interesting!

One more point: We, as serious practicing Catholics know the fact that Faith and Morals are dictated by our Church (The Pope->on down. As St. Peter was left in charge of the others by Christ).

When it comes to Faith and Morals—>There is no room for compromise. These are set in stone. If you keep with the Church’s Teachings, you will not get into trouble. That is not the easiest thing to do, especially in our Country today. We’re being bombarded by Atheistic Secularism. I know. We have 2 teenage daughters!!!

The world changes, yes. God remains the same, for always and forever. God is the same today as He was yesterday, as He will be tomorrow.

Let me say that I think there are a lot of people WAY out of line on this thread. Even IF this priest was causing scandal, it is nothing compared to the gossip and judgemental attitudes people are expressing here. There is no discussion on the appropriateness of a priest attending a homosexual union, and lots of totally unbased accusations of homosexuality in the clergy, and personal slander of this priest. I dearly hope that I am not the only one that finds this disturbing. No one knows why he was there and taking this gossip So far as to call him gay is totally out of line.

There are homosexual Priest and Nuns. There is nothing out of line about that statement.

No. Priest, celebrities, politician’s private lives. If it’s unfounded, and gossip, it is NOT something christians should be doing! Do you really see yourself sitting down and having a conversation with Christ about how terribly scandalous Britney Spears is? Do you think Christ wants to hear you bashing ANYONE for speculations YOU have made about their private life? What about “do unto others?” What if someone saw you talking to a member of the opposite sex and assumed you were sleeping together and told everyone? Sound like fun? If you don’t want someone to do it to you, DO NOT do it to others. This is incredibly immoral. And yes, it IS out of line to make such terrible public judgement about someone YOU DO NOT KNOW.

I think Father John Corapi is radical. I listen to him But i think he is radical. I Like Father Groschel. Father Corapi is full, of himself, However i do Like him , I just think he is radical

In the military, there are strict limitations on wearing the uniform off-duty. There should be in the Church, as well. I recently saw a young priest from our parish going into a restaurant / bar, late at night, wearing skin-tight jeans, raging cowboy-boots, and his Roman collar. I considered it inappropriate at a glance, even though I admit I didn’t have the full story. The Church should never be represented in potentially scandalous settings.

FR Groeschel has always lived for God…I don’t think either is a radical. They are both reflecting the world as they lived it

WE had a young nun that always liked to wear party dresses and strappy sandals…She looked woefully unprofessional…I think they need someone to mentor them…

We are not vicious, we are telling it like it is.Consecrated, but still suffer from human frailty, & I dont think some priests have it that hard. I know an undertaker who has to deal with a lot of priests & I hear a lot of stories, but again human frailty, I still Love My church & My priests

I watch him often and I have lots of his dvds. How is he radical? You are making a statement without backing it up. Give me an example of his radicalism.
