Um, no, if you watch the long version of the footage, after the man stabbed the priest he got up and let the priest get away while concerned Mass-goers ran into the sanctuary and start remonstrating with him.
Ha, I caught that too. Nobody even came close to wrestling him to the ground. I am honestly surprised the attacker stayed around. He stabbed the priest, fell on top of him, still stabbing him, then just casually got up and went and stood against the wall by himself and chilled. Only then did anyone even go near him. Then he just stood around and talked to people. It was really bizzare!

Imagine if this happened in a mosque! One wonders if the attacker is a moslem.

I don’t know if they’ve released any info about the attacker, but I guess we’ll find out.

Apparently it did make big news in Canada, with Prime Minister Trudeau and others commenting on it.

He was not a muslim, at least if his name is any indication (Vlad Cristian Emeria).

He was previously known to police and the father of the suspect indicated that his son suffered from serious psychological problems for which he was supposed to be taking medication.

I’m not sure what you mean by “imagine of this happened in a mosque”. In Quebec City just over a year ago, 6 muslims where shot to death during prayers. Whether a muslim or someone of any other faith is shot or knifed, these are horrendous acts. And if you think it was under-reported, it was a major item in the news up here with follow-up articles.

It would be all over the news with the regular mouthpieces crying fowl over the “islamophobia.” This on the other hand I have not seen or heard on the news at all.

It was all over the Canadian news, both nationally and in Quebec.

It was probably not all over the US news because, well, usually things that happen in Canada aren’t all over the US news.

It was reported on the BBC, and The Guardian.

So I think your point is pure conjecture.
