So it seems to me that we have mistakenly ruled out the possibility that the parish may be lying in regards to their reasoning… I think it is extremely likely that Fr. Marcel Guarnizo has become the next victim of the pack of wolves that prowl about the Church.

Fr. Guarnizo was active in the Pro Life Ministry. So was: Fr. Euetenauer, Fr. Corapi, Fr. Pavone, and I’m sure I haven’t encluded the entire list. Hmm…Satan is working hard.

There you go:thumbsup:This priest may have been too strident in his actions according to some parishioners. However, that may very well be a subjective opinion, because these employees, parishioners are of the Cafeteria Catholic variety, the Bishop may also follow that thinking…🤷😦

Or it could be that the priest is a tyrant and very difficult to work with. Just because he is part of the “Pro Life Ministry” doesn’t make him a good boss.

Unless you, the general you.know all of the players, there is no way to know what truly happened. I am simply giving the bishop the benefit of the doubt.

Then you know what?? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WELL-PAST “ENOUGH”, in fact.
If the Bishop is a Cafeteria Catholic
then we need to pray for God to
  1. either grant this Bishop ABJECT REPENTANCE and the FULL WILL TO
…DEFEND THE FAITH AND HIS FAITHFUL PRIESTS AND STOP KNUCKLING UNDER
…TO INFIDELS, OR (and some aren’t going to like this, but I truly don’t care),
  2. Ask God to supernaturally REMOVE this Bishop (if he will not repent) from the scene.
And it is NOT a sin to pray such an IMPRECATORY prayer, no matter what anyone may say. Many of us advocate the most imprecatory prayer ever written by a Christian,
namely the PRAYER TO MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, where we not only pray for Michael to have God “keep the devil away from us,” no, not merely that, but to actually CAST HIM INTO THE TORTUROUS FIRES OF HELL.
Bishops have special Graces that YOU AND I DO NOT HAVE that come FROM GOD to enable them to FAITHFULLY fulfill their duties. A Bishop who betrays a FAITHFUL PRIEST in order to placate the wicked, is a TRAITOR LIKE JUDAS and JUST AS WILLFUL. It is high time that we treated him like one.
Pray for his re-coversion first,
BUT IF THAT DOES NOT ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING,
then for the sake of the flock that HE IS HELPING TO LEAD TO HELL,
then pray for God to supernaturally remove him from his Office and/or from the scene
altogether.

Or it could be that the priest is a tyrant and very difficult to work with. Just because he is part of the “Pro Life Ministry” doesn’t make him a good boss.

So get rid of an ORTHODOX priest because he may be bossy and difficult?
Balderdash. Tell the church workers to both a) grow some spines
and b) pray for the man’s temperament to be softened by God.
I don’t like harsh, grouch bosses either, but a priest is more, much more, than
a mere “Boss.” He is a minister of the BLOOD OF CHRIST, and you do NOT treat him
on the level of any OTHER, secular, BOSS. You tolerate some things from him that you wouldn’t tolerate from others, BECAUSE of the Special Holiness of His Office.

Good lord, remove an orthodox priest because he is bossy or difficult to work with?
By THAT TOKEN, the POPE should have defrocked and excommunicated
the great Saint JEROME, for by all accounts, St. Jerome was a hot tempered, bossy,
easily-angered, very difficult to deal with PAIN IN THE BUTT, and sarcastic as all hell
to top it off.

I imagine this latest activist foray against the Church has caused no small amount of stress in the parish and diocese. These sorts of events are usually staged to trigger a deluge of harassing communication, media calls, and often times vandalism and threats of violence. It’s enough to put anybody on edge - maybe the employee, maybe the pastor, maybe the priest, maybe an official in the diocese. Placing father on leave allows for the diocese to investigate. We’ll probably never hear the details on way or another.

Thank you, I was going to point this out. It is an all out war, and, we are taking sides, even on this forum. Faithful priests will need to move underground.

I sincerely hope this is not what it appears to be. I pray that Father did not get sacked over this lesbian and the tumult she created by her apostasy. I pray to Our Holy Mother for devout, Holy Priests and Bishops to aid us in this battle we now see raging.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

“We are hopeful that Bishop Knestout’s decision will ensure that no others will have to undergo the traumatic experiences brought upon our family,” Barbara Johnson, who was denied Holy Communion, said in a statement.
The Catholic Church is more concerned with the “traumatic experience” you might receive on Judgment Day.

It is not a social club. Denying you Communion is not the equivalent of denying you access to the Friday Fish Fry, though I doubt you would recognize the difference.

The citation also contains this comment:

“This action was taken after I received credible allegations that Father Guarnizo has engaged in intimidating behavior toward parish staff and others that is incompatible with proper priestly ministry,” the bishop added.

This statement is disturbing. If Fr. Guarnizo is being removed because of his action in denying communion then that should have been stated and if he was being removed for some other reason then that point should have been clarified. People will of course assume his removal is directly tied to his denial of communion but since that was not the stated reason I guess the diocese maintains some level of plausible deniability that they acceded to the demands of a lesbian quasi-Catholic to remove a priest who offended her by following the canons of the Church. I guess I can understand why the diocese wouldn’t want to admit that.

Ender
I think the “and others” might be referring to her, but like you said it’s not clear. It’s very vague.

Fr. Marcel Guarnizo does not seem like a tyrant.

Sorry, I couldn’t watch more than a second of the video. It was making me sea sick.

But, it seemed like a video showing the priest in question at a pro-life event.

I have never said that he wasn’t pro-life. Simply that the article in question tells us that he wasn’t placed on leave because he denied Communion to anyone. The quote from the article says this:
“This action was taken after I received credible allegations that Father Guarnizo has engaged in intimidating behavior toward parish staff and others that is incompatible with proper priestly ministry,” the bishop added.
As a parish employee I would find it very difficult to work with someone that has “engaged in intimidating behavior toward” me.

Hey I think Priests should make a stand such as that when a person is in ouright defiance of what Christ set down they are not in state of grace. She was defiant was even with her partner use that loosely even more defiant. When will people understand scripture states that those who are not following will be left out!

My point is that he does not seem at all very intimidating. This is why I am extremely suspicious.
