But what did he actually say? Not your feeling of what he said, but what did he actually say? I did read your post, in fact, I quoted it. 👍
Quoting isn’t reading and you’ve demonstrated that perfectly with this comment here below
You are now of the opinion that he should have dropped everything and heard your confession or at least he should have taken time to explain why he didn’t have time to hear your confession. He deserves a chance to explain why he can’t hear a confession right before Christmas Mass.
Again, the same false accusations- Do you believe that the Priest saying “Not now, return later” is an explanation for not hearing confession? It’s simply saying “No” charitably.
I don’t see a priest that doesn’t take confession seriously, I see a person that wants confession when she wants it and gets upset when a priest says no. 🤷
[edited] For the last time-* I would have been fine being told- Not Now* That’s a charitable “No”- Not “an explanation as to why it could not be done”. That’s something you are attributing to me (seeking explanations)- Otherwise you can just point to where I said that in any of my posts. What use is there conversing with someone if you’re unwilling to actually listen instead of forcing your own opinions on what they mean?

Thank you.

Sorry but I see the same thing. Yes I get that you were upset and yes I am truly sorry for that. But I can’t really figure out what you want out of this…it seems that you just want to wallow in it…maybe I’m wrong but that is how it appear.

You should seek out this priest and give him a chance to explain. You have been talking bad about him here…I think you need to talk with him about it…tell him he hurt your feelings…and FORGIVE him.

Thank you to all those who responded charitably to me with advice and were willing to give fraternal correction with love and not just pass judgments. This is my last post.
