I’ve always understood blessings of objects to signify something to be used for a holy purpose. Isn’t this bordering on the frivolous?

Cars, dogs, and computers are blessed. I don’t think it’s frivolous.

I am not sure it will work either. That said, I guess now the manhole covers are holy.
