Thereseozi,Thanks for your prayers,it means so much to know Steven,has people praying for him,he’s so scared.I received my first letter from prison,he tells me he’s okay,but I think he’s just worried about me.I appreciate your concern,PLEASE let me know of any intention you would like me to pray for.GOD love and bless you.

Dianne, sometimes, experiencing purgatory begins in this life. As with scripture, purification is probably more like a continuum, a seamless garment that has already begun and continues after death. The more purgation we experience in life, the less we must suffer in death, and the more hope and confidence we will have in those final moments. This is why so many of the early Christians welcomed suffering, as it lessened anything they might have had to go through upon death. In his confinement, Steven is saved from the evils of the outside world. In his spiritual state, he is saved from original sin and eternal damnation. Through his membership in the Body of Christ he has hope, where none existed. You yourself have increasing hope, where before you had little. Both of you have received the grace of increased faith, and daily reason to pray for each other. That did not exist when he was sinning in the outside world. Praise God for His Gracious Mercy.
