The Catholic Church has stated no such thing, despite having had over 400 years to do so. Perhaps you are thinking of the essays posted by Catholic Answers staff, and if they are allowed to hold discussions on this subject, then why can’t we?If that is the alleged prophecy of St Malachy . . . the Church has stated that it is a forgery.
BTW: as you have been told before, we have all known since 1880 that St. Malachy did not write this prophecy. That fact was irrelevant to Pope Pius XII when he selected a phrase from the prophecy to be the title of his 1942 autobiographical film. Of course you are not required by the Church to place any credence in this subject, but it is not correct to dismiss it simply on the grounds of “forgery.” In 400 years there has been plenty of time to evaluate the validity of the post 1595 predictions, and the prophecy stands or falls on that analysis.
