Pro-Abortion Catholics United Defends Health Pick Sebelius

Washington, DC – Just as Catholics United covered up President Barack Obama’s pro-abortion record during the presidential elections, the fake Catholic group is now covering up the pro-abortion record of his choice for Health Secretary, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.

Sebelius has been accurately pegged as a hardcore abortion advocate by pro-life groups.

With her close relationship to late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller, her repeated vetoes of any legislation to limit or reduce abortions, and her numerous pro-abortion appointments, there is little reason for Catholics to endorse her nomination.

But Catholics United responded to the Saturday news that Obama is naming Sebelius on Monday as his Health Secretary by creating a new group called “Catholics for Sebelius.”

Maybe it is time for a post card campaign to Obama to stop the nomination of Sebelius to HHS.
 
Archbishop Joseph Naumann was interviewed today on Relevant Radio. He addressed this very issue and whether communion should be withheld from her.
**His answer was unequivocally…yes. **
**He is her bishop despite her move to Washington DC. **
 
Archbishop Naumann needs to issue a formal Decree of Excommunication against the KS Gov, IMHO…
 
I wonder of these pro abortion “Catholics” realize they are not Catholic at all. To be truly Catholic, one must accept, believe and practice all that the Catholic Church believes and teaches.

Yes, prayers are needed. Not just for her, but for all in our government. Pray that they will reject the culture of death and embrace the gospel of life.

The Prime Ministers in my country,Canada,have mainly in recent years been all “Catholic”.

We have no abortion law at all in my country and of course so-called same sex “marriage”.The most profligate criminal abortionist in Canada,responsible for the murder of 70,000 Canadians has been awarded the Order of Canada.When thousands and thousands of Christians demonstrate against abortion it is NEVER reported in the media.Great eh?

There MUST be a chastisement coming.These sins scream out to heaven.Personally,sometimes I find it overwhelming and feel that I am in a waking nightmare.I thank God I’m Catholic and thank God for our Church which is an oasis of sanity.I can’t imagine how I could live in this miasma of banal evil without my Faith.
 
I was wondering, if someone didn’t believe in Purgatory (or other things), is he or she supposed to be denied communion?
 
I don’t know the answer to that question -

I can tell you that postcards to Obama on this won’t do any good, because he thinks just like Sebelius. He would have no problem with her stance on abortion, including Tiller’s activities. Remember, Obama is also a supporter of partial birth abortion, so the fact that she is supportive of a doctor (using that term loosely for sure) who performs abortions on full-term babies is not a problem for Obama.
