And robbers commonly express “choice” when they choose whether to kill the convenience store clerk or not…

The stupid thing here is that Mary’s choice was of whether or not she would become pregnant in the first place, so now she makes the huge leap to saying that means ALL choices are good… like, the right to kill your baby! This nun is a good example of how the gradual Orwellian dumbing-down of our language that our culture forces upon us really does start to affect people’s “reasoning”. Things like abortion are basically just labeled as ‘goodthink’ (aka freedom of choice) and the liberal sheep never bother to question why.

👍👍

Can anyone give any other information on this woman?

Is she being supported by the Catholic Church as in housing, etc?

What / where is her community?

A tragically fallacious line of ‘reasoning’; either through equivocation (assuming we understand ‘choice’ in this context to have an alternate, more sinister conotation) or misguided syllogism.

The article and the commentary below the article give some info. It appears she is with the “Sinsinawa Dominicans” in the Diocese of Madison Wisconsin. I don’t know what support she gets financially. Try a search on CAF or google.

I have to wonder, exactly what does a nun have to say or do to be removed from an order - does anyone know how that works? Rarely have I seen such hatred for the unborn…and she is ostensibly one of our own. I mean as a nun you must really have to be a super-overachiever to earn such a high rank in the gutter of ignominy. If her superiors can’t address this, then they are complicit.

I hope the Vatican doesn’t miss her order when they are investigating

The bishop should silence her and she she be removed from her order…She has had enough chances to repent and doesn’t…

Exactly.

What can we do to bring this to some superior’s attention…one that will do something? What could be any worse than walking a person to be murdered and commit murder? What???🤷

Try contacting her superior. sr. Patricia Mulcahey at spatmul@aol.com.

I’m sending her an email now. Also, the article gives some other email addresses.

It’s a sad day when nuns are openly and publicly complicit in abortion, promoting it at every opportunity. May God have mercy on them. Thank God we have the Sisters of Life.

Madison, WI is one of those crazy ultra-liberal places. I’m outraged by Catholics like her.

Is it possible to send this article to the Vatican? I’m not Catholic yet, but I am outraged at this. I’ve written several e-mails. What can right-to-life groups do to protest this?

Yes they have email but I don’t know what it is…I am not sure the Pope will see it…I think he has secretaries to answer his mail

Maybe, we can give her to the Unitarians:shrug:
“I was reminded of being with men and women from the Unitarian faith tradition last year as they celebrated Mary who by her [ascent], they believed, was one of the first women in the New Testament to express Choice,” Quinn said.
She, by her own words, embarrasses their ideas.

To be fair, Mary did indeed have a choice. She picked the right one! That’s what it really comes down to. Choices determined in accordance to God’s will result in good things. People can also choose to freely reject God’s forgiveness and walk briskly into hell with their banners waving triumphantly. That doesn’t make it a good idea!
