Exactly where does Washington Say this? I can’t find it. It does seem that your “Americans first” might be a personal interpretation of what he did say. What parties existed at the time of Benjamin Franklin?
At any rate, CapitalistCatholic was being sarcastic and the point being that there are those who would condemn removing a threat from society as being immoral.

Oh, in that case I completely agree with deporting him, and the attempt to make this a pro-life issue is even more misguided.
Don’t be too quick to decide his fate. Yes, i understand the idea that he should lose his right to stay in the country, but deporting him to a war-zone just because we don’t like what he did is not exactly a moral thing to do either.

Is that really okay. I hesitate to say yes. Why don’t we just deport him off the planet.

If they could have deported him anywhere else, then I’d agree; but you can only deport someone to their nation of origin. (As far as I’m aware at least. I know people can be extradited, but that process has to be started by the country he’d be going to…)

I can feel a little bad for him while still recognizing that the state was completely within their rights to deport the abuser…

Brings tears to my eyes, too. But not for the same reason it apparently does for you.
Herald Sun is perhaps only one step removed from the Weekly World News.
I remember the days when you could stand on an airplane, have a smoke and chit-chat with the stewardesses. In those days, a man wouldn’t think of flying without a jacket, tie and a pack of Lucky Strikes. 😎
Have you flown lately? Last time I flew, my hips ached afterward. And I haven’t gained weight. At least not THAT much, lol! Why your airline seat may shrink even more under new government regulations - MarketWatch

Indeed. Conditions are certainly getting worse for travelers.

All you’re missing is a slave-driver “booting” these passengers by throwing them overboard.

Actually, that’s how the airlines could have handled this student. It’s par for the course, these days.
