Euteneuer in his new book, Exorcism and the** Church Militant. **

In the newly released book, Fr. Euteneuer warns: “Never in all of history have we seen evil promoted so effectively and the true good so roundly mocked and rejected as in this age of extreme technological prowess.” He explains, “the difference between the modern world and past generations is that Satan has a greater ability to use groups and institutions for increasing his wicked reach into human life and society.”

Never in all history is a long time. Apparently Fr. Euteneuer has not done much study of the social conditions in the Roman Empire or, for that matter, the conditions in Rome at the end of the 15th century. Hmmm, for starters how about infanticide, gluttony (vomiting to be able to return to the feast to eat more,) slavery, Circus Maximus featuring gladiators fighting to the death, Christians being thrown to lions, and the practice of scourging and crucifixion, to mention only a few. Compared to those folks, we are rank amateurs when it comes to evil. Commodus would think us wusses.

Then, of course, there are the tender mercies of the Assyrians and Babylonians to consider. Of later date are the Nazis and their death camps and crematoria. Let’s think about Dr. Mengele.

While truly each and every instance you mention is entirely evil, the sheer magnitude of the perpetration of evil in the modern world through the media, the internet and the decaying of moral and social values worldwide present today far outweigh the specifi incidences you mention here. The mere idea that you would scoff at the obvious only serves to point out the power of satanic forces in the world today. The devil loves to hear from folks that things are really “not that bad”! Fr. Euteneur (sp?) is certainly well aware of history.You stated “We are rank amateurs”??? Are you claiming to be in league with the devil or speaking for him?
 
That author needs to take a deep breath. Things are better than ever and getting better every year! At least in Canada.👍
 
I live in ontario can someone tell me if abortion is provided for under our OHIP plan I don;t know who to ask.

You can ask google or wikipedia. Abortion has been in legal limbo in Canada for about 20 years or so. Abortions can be obtained in every province and territory in the country.

Yes, they are paid for through universal health care tax base.

Read the Book of Revelation. It was at the end of World War II that America demonstrated atomic power, and since then, the ability to destroy the entire planet. That was not possible in all of previous history.

With our iPhones and iPADS, the entire world will be able to see the AntiChrist at the same time.

Golobal interconnections over the internet has made it possible for evil to flourish at tremendous speed. The internet is a recent creation with no parallel in all of human history.

The one advantage evil has in the modern world is the ease and speed with which evil can propagate around the globe. We have the US encouraging birth control and abortion on a global scale, we have coordinated terrorism attacks being launched against several countries in rapid succession, we have pornography instantly available through the internet, we have child abuse and even human bondage being advertised on social websites, and on and on and on.

Yes there were horribly evil empires throughout history including some episodes like the inquisition and wiitch hunts that the Church, Christianity in general, would probably like to forget but nothing like the propagation of evil we are experiencing today!
 
I agree with the father, and here is why: We live in a world where child slavery is rampant, murder of children through abortion and other means is epidemic. Children are being slaughtered in schools in China by random psychopaths. Small children are tied up like dogs for up to half a day in and around the factories in China because their parents can’t afford childcare. Homeless children walk the streets every night in practically every country having to fend for themselves. Some Africans believe that by raping babies, their AIDS will be cured.
Sins of the flesh are being promoted to the point of desensitization, thus children are learning to treat themselves as sex objects and give away their innocence and dignity, leading each other down a path of ruin.

Catch on to the theme? Satan’s prime target are the innocent ones. And look how many of them around you have been and will be corrupted.

This is why so many families are torn apart. The effects of a disordered family life are staggering on children. The devil knows this, and so will employ any tactic to bring down as many souls as possible before Jesus’ second coming.
