Caller: “I can just give you my credit card information and you’ll handle it because I don’t want to send it in.”
SIL: “Yes, I can take your information and charge it directly to your bank or your credit card company.”
Caller: “Now, can I give it for a special purpose and you’ll use it for that?”
SIL: “Yes, we will use it exactly as you say.”
Caller: “Okay, because I want to help pay for poor women to have abortions.”
SIL: “Okay, did you want to give me your information?”

I don’t know about that but it seems to show a very limited view of what being pro-life represents, if at all. Being pro-life has to extend to those outside one’s culture as well, I would think. I totally agree. $300 million was spent to elect Romney!! How great would it be if that amount were spent on programs to change minds and establish group homes for women who make the decision to keep their babies. For some women, all they need is a little support.That’s my understanding too. My own thoughts are that there has to be a point where too much negative campaigning becomes counterproductive. It certainly wasn’t the lack of money which caused the defeat of those whom the pro-life leaders supported. And this money could have better spent to provide and promote abortion alternatives IMO. Now it’s gone and Rove et al have to answer for it.
