Wow Newbie, that was specific! I was being sincere in that question. I am a little slow, so I actually had to count up four, and then notice you said “all you” and “in everything,” for everyone else prior to that, which leads me to believe I am being a tad singled out, ok, whatever, I take no offense. Thanks for these last 4 post. I am reading and considering them closely.
Let’s get down to the problem! I am not a beer drinker. In fact, I hate beer, but you did not address beer-drinking people only, so trying to give you a palpable solution/substitution was truly my honest intent there.
Most people here are saying you have an addiction, do you agree with this? You say it is not out of control. I know you have a blank profile to assume some anonymity, but I need more info. How old are you? How long has it been like this? Is it just irritation, boredom, and aggravation? Are you also, depressed, lonely, unguided, misdirected, getting over a break up, feeling inept, too? Are you a man/woman? Have you fallen away from our faith?
Everyone is reading your statement, “I don’t get out of control. I don’t think I’m dealing with full-blown addiction,” as a huge denial line, because you know the symptoms, you addressed it, but retract by using the word don’t.
Lastly, I’m sorry you didn’t care for my response, I am better known for these long winded ones instead… however coming back to God and taking so much time out of your whole life to learn about him and his truths, his laws, his better ways…, remember there is a better way especially when you already have the best, … a church history with documents for scores of years, decades, centuries, and millennia’s! If it’s all been done before, and you know your faith well, how do you think your God in heaven would resolve your matter? He is with you and guiding you as we speak and we will all be here praying for you and your recovery in this. Peace and God’s blessings brother/sister!
