I am in Mortal Sin, and am usually in it 99.99% of the time, but only because we never go to confession. We don’t have a local church that has confessions, because our local church is crazy and ran by heretics that believe women should be Priests, and who lock the church doors because they “don’t want it to get dirty”. And, in turn to their many heresies, they don’t believe confession is necessary. Therefore, the church twenty five miles away that’s not crazy is our only hope, but we still never go to confession because we’re always busy. Basically, is there anything in Canon Law that says you should go every four weeks?
As an insight into my daily hell on earth, I’m always unable to go to communion, but my parents don’t know that I’m in Mortal Sin, so it’s hard to keep making up excuses. Just today I ate a brownie before we left so I would have a good excuse, but my mother didn’t care and made me do it anyway because I never go, even though receiving communion in Mortal Sin is another Mortal Sin in and of itself. It’s a circle of sin and I’m sick and tired of it. I just want to be able to receive communion and be more comfortable with my eventual judgment. It could happen tomorrow, and I’d be sent to Hell, just because I never get to go to confession. I’ve been bringing it up a lot, and we were supposed to go today, but we couldn’t because we got too busy and only made it to church. So please, if you would, could you give me a good argument on why we should go every four weeks? Or is there perhaps something in Canon Law? Maybe something a Saint said? I’m open to anything. My soul is at stake here, and the only excuse I have to give God is “I’m too busy”.
