2nd, this particular division has nothing to do with the gospel of grace. It has to do with your hubris, and the contemptible treatment of your brothers and sisters in Christ.

It does not seem that you are willing or able to accept feedback, or take responsibility for your offensive behaviors here. You have failed in charity towards your fellow members of CAF.

If your behavior here is an accurate representation of your interpersonal skills, it is no wonder you are looking for “fellowship” on an anonymous internet site. I can imagine it would be very difficult for you to get along with anyone given your attitude.

It’s quite easy to be on a Forum site in which your view is the majority view. However, I’m not sure if you would do well on a Reformed Forum Site or a Protestant Forum Site. What do you expect since we are in different Christian communities with a historic deep divide? I’m glad that our discussions are causing us to be challenged, because all Christians really know in part and are sinners in process. Yes, but it’s been awhile. When I was in college my roomate was Catholic, so he use to take me to Mass with him on a regular basis.

I guess by being here you are proclaiming Christ according to your definition.

Frankly, I do not see much Christ in there; not by the way you discuss. Even in an internet discussion we can still project our Christ-like manifestation – proclamation, if you will. By that one has to be dignified, honest and truthful, even if it’s only the internet.

You do not, unfortunately. You made wrong statement about Catholics and their belief which seems to be intentional, people you claim to be your Christian siblings. There is definitely a smack of deception and elusiveness in the way you argue. I do not see honesty there; the title of the thread is one example.

If by the technique you discuss here as showing you are proclaiming Christ, then I am sorry, I do not see Christ being proclaimed by such dubious technique.

This is quite true, and I have observed that there is a strong pro-Catholic bias here. Catholics can be insulting, bigoted, and derogatory with more impugnity than non-Catholic, in my opinion. I have observed many posts that, had they been from a non-Catholic, would not have been tolerated. I can also verify that I did not have a pleasant visit on a non-Catholic site.

I expect you to take responsibility for your insulting behavior, apologize, and do your best to correct it. The problems you have encountered here have nothing to do with historical problems, but with your personal behavior and attitude.

I’ll admit I bit, but I think what ewok and I were trying to do is pin Adam down by making him give us an answer. His intentionally misleading and ambiguous statements have been giving people around here fits, and I don’t think he’s playing fair. I have read his false statements and chopped up quotes and contradictions too many times, and I have simply resolved myself to not buy into his garbage anymore. I might read threads that he starts, but only to learn how not to be, but this will be the last time I post on any of his threads.
