Do you mean Mysterium Fideum (Let us proclaim the mystery of Faith) or the actual Profession of Faith?
If the priest used the memorial acclamation as a profession of faith than that is wrong. You are to pray either the NIcene or Apostles Creed, or, in lieu of that, renew your Baptismal Promises (especially during the Easter Vigil and the Easter Season). However, no one has the authority to invent or impose his own Creed.
Now, as far as the Mysterium Fideum (Mystery of Faith), there are four allowed. Three of them address Christ in the second person (Lord, by your cross and resurrection you have set us free, you are the savior of the world. When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death, Lord Jesus, until you come in glory. Dying, you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life, Lord Jesus, come in glory).
The fourth one, the one you quoted, refers to Christ in the third question. Unfortutnately, according to George Cardnial Pell, this was not in the original Roman Missal (Novus Ordo) and was inserted. You don’t find this in the Latin version. Furthermore, sadly, this is also the one that is most commonly used. However, until the new ICEL translation of the Roman Missal comes about, we’re bound to what is in the current Roman Missal.
