Prolife Saint?

I follow you but to think that every child born before the chance to have baptism is automatically tossed into hell also makes a mockery of free will. That child would have no chance to excercise that will. Somehow, even unbaptzed babies born after death have a will and a purpose in the salvation of the whole world.
We are made to know, love, and serve him. I know my babies have helped in my salvation. Just defending that they were alive has helped others to gain an understanding of preborn life. I don’t know what God would say is heaven woarthy but I know all of us have a chance, so somehow my babies have a chance. I believe there are unbaptized Saint I don’t know how, but I have faith that in God all things are possible. I concieved five children after I was told I wouldn’t concieve one. I have faith at least the size of a mustard seed. We all get the chance to choose God, he gets to let us in. It doesn’t seem like much of a loving God that would have the most innocent among us to line up and just begin tossing them to hell because they had no chance at baptism.

I agree. I personally think that God gives these preborn babies who die some sort of ‘test’ if you could call it that, a chance to choose Him or not, same as the rest of human kind who lives to the age of reason. Then He will judge them accordingly.

Did I say anything about them being tossed into Hell? (Or even Limbo, aka Hell-lite?) No. But it stands to reason if they’re given free will they have about the same chances of salvation as the rest of us, which means many more are damned than saved. I didn’t say that, Jesus did.

As for the preborn (or some of them) being saints, of course it’s possible. But I’m not going to call anyone a saint before the Church does - and the Church won’t until God chooses to reveal them as such. So far He’s not seen fit to indicate that any of the preborn are saints.

I know Pope John Paul postulated the theory that Hell could very well be empty or almost empty. We we seriously also need to consider the opposite to be just as likely - that Heaven is empty of all but the 10,000 odd canonised Saints.

God is love, justice and mercy - but He is REAL love not the unreliable and unreasoning emotion that we humans too often equate with it. And He certainly doesn’t seem to be a pushover or a soft touch when it comes to salvation.

The more I pray about this issue the more I believe that we can have every hope and assurance that the littlest and most innocent would make it to heaven before anyone else. Over and over God has said he would not leave us orphaned. He asked us to make ourselves like children. We may not have a preborn, unbaptised Saint cannonized by the Church today. I am confident that we will. God is just and loving and merciful!
