“I didn’t know that for the first 1,500 years of church history, everyone saw it as the literal body and blood of Christ,” Chan remarked. “And it wasn’t until 500 years ago that someone popularized the thought that it’s just a symbol and nothing more. I didn’t know that. I thought, ‘Wow, that’s something to consider.’”

Someone else then posted “it took a mega church pastor to convince me that the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist was the center of worship.”

As a rule Protestants don’t believe in transubstantiation, that communion is the body and blood of Christ, and very many Protestants never heard of this.

Apparently, he was just telling about this discovery, and not speaking about his conversion then.

Technically, there were a few heretical groups that did not believe that, but they didn’t last very long. I get what he’s saying though.

I clicked on the referenced site, then other nearby articles. I find it ironical that some “higher ups” are referring to him as an apostate. Lol! Is that possible? 😀

This article reminded me of the Alex Jones story, also, @po18guy. He was a brave and stalwart man, a true warrior for Christ in an era in which we seldom consider that crusading for Christ, to that extent, is possible. We keep forgetting that “With God, all things are possible!”

If we all add this awakening man to our prayers . . . 😇

That story is from January. What a powerful sermon?! I wonder where he is 4
months after this sermon. Is he on the road to being Catholic?

He GETS it!!
