Is it really that hard to see and hear what happens in the sanctuary and at the altar? Sigh.

I’m not a fan of moving the altar at all, but it is better than moving it at eye level with the people which would have been the original plan. At least now the altar will be more elevated. As far as the Eucharistic reservation area, I am more hopeful. Right now, you can hardly tell that the tabernacle is even a tabernacle because it is basically built into the wall. I don’t know what the design will be, but I am hoping that it will be more reverant than the current structure which is not fitting (in my opinion) for reservation of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
