It is against the law in Nevada:

NRS 207.200  Unlawful trespass upon land; warning against trespassing.
Goes upon the land or into any building of another with intent to vex or annoy the owner or occupant thereof, or to commit any unlawful act; or
Code:
  (b) Willfully goes or remains upon any land or in any building after having been warned by the owner or occupant thereof not to trespass,
is guilty of a misdemeanor

The police should arrest every single one of them
Unfortunately, that’s probably exactly what they want- Catholic Church arrests ‘true believers’ for Coming to church. No win situation. I like the Nicene Creed them into submission idea…

Yep, seen videos of them all over YouTube. There’s groups in SoCal, Washington State, Washington DC, and apparently Vegas that do this type of thing (though the entering the church so far is unique to Vegas and DC from what I’ve seen. They protest Catholic Churches during mass, Catholic conferences, etc… And also Anglican churches as well so you’re not alone in having their ire.
what do they think they will gain by doing these protests? it makes them look “unchristian”.

Serious question: how bad would it be for someone to engage in physicality under these circumstances? It might be spiritually invigorating to give someone a beat down in that situation. F’real. I’m not being sarcastic or facetious.
Follow the example of Our Lord, and fashion a whip and drive them out. :D:D

I have no knowledge of how many parishioners are armed. Many citizens in Las Vegas have permits for concealed carry, and some of those permittees are Catholic.

I am willing to bet that some of the parishioners who were disturbed in prayer were concerned about their safety, and that at least one was thinking about the gun he had holstered on his belt!

It would be a terrible thing to have to defend yourself with deadly force in Church.
This is why you bring the porters back.

Then the phrase “Catholic Terrorist” would come back into the vernacular like it was in America over a century ago.

Jesus told us the world would hate us because of Him Mt 10:22. Turn the other cheek and pray for their conversion,

Sounds like someone thought Fred Phelps wasnt over the top enough…

They’d argue it’s un-Christian to let Catholics, liberal Christians and everyone else they dress deviant burn in the ‘lake of fire’ without warning.

what do they mean they can’t do anything about it? I bet if it were Christians going into a mosque they would do something.
You know they would! I know how I would respond…BUT, how should one respond to this kind of hatred?

Yeah being that Nevada has laws against disrupting a religious service and it’s clearly a case of trespass I find it very odd that the police wouldn’t at least investigate it. That is assuming the Diocese or parishes involved requested they do so.

In the present climate of potential terrorist attacks and crazed gun men, my first thought would be that these intruders at mass were there to do harm. I would attempt to subdue one of the protesters before anything would escalate into violence.

Why is this not a hate crime.

Same topic under discussion in Apologetics. Anti-Catholics disrupt Mass in Las Vegas
They do have some good links and conversation over there even though this thread did start first 😉 I think it is good that parishes prepare for such instances that could eventually happen in their church. I happen to like the idea of one of the posters on the Apologetics thread saying that it is a good time to break out in an impromptu hymn to silence the intruders. How about “Holy God we Praise Thy Name”.

or “O Salutaris Hostia”
