What’s that supposed to mean?
🤨
lol…well first that we seek different things. Secondly, i think it is a truism, that what you seek you will find. The grace is in seeking per His gracious leading, per the desire of one’s heart, even after His heart.

But really if one seeks to justify their position on Marion theology, one way or the other (for or against), and in writ or in history/tradition, they will be satisfied.

I certainly am satisfied, as it seems you and others here are also, even after having same (name removed by moderator)ut from scripture and tradition etc…

They are even pretty lousy polemics.
Just because facts can hurt doesn’t mean they are always ‘lousy polemics’.
And as your Catholic siblings have pointed out, it isn’t facts, unless you accept that there are over 200 separate Catholic Churches.

Okay! How many Protestant denominations are there? Estimate if you must.

I think a serious argument can be made about the divisions within noncatholic communions. It is a shame when they resort to nonsense.
I’m frankly embarrassed by some of the non-Catholic arguments against the perpetual virginity of St Mary. I can imagine how Catholics of good will feel about this one.

How many were at the formal protest at Speyer? They are the Protestants. Evangelical Catholics (Lutherans) are Protestants, and they have virtually no relation to other Reformation era movements.
Start there. Then stop the silly grouping that designated each non denom church as a denomination.
Then figure out how many basic theological groupings there are. 6? 8? 20?

Oh, then return to the topic of the thread where you actually have a decided advantage about the Blessed Virgin Mary.

I agree. I’m all for ecumenism. But, all I did was throw out a round number to emphasize the magnitude of division within Protestantism. And, you and a few others are making it seem like I labeled people as heretics, or that they are anathema. I mean, I get a sense of some pretty thin skin here, no offense.

Or, you could simply answer my question.

So what is better, thin skinned or thick skulled?

Good gravy, everyone! Forget I ever mentioned this taboo number of 40,000. Everyone is a part of the same One Church. There is no such thing as heresy, schism or doctrinal error. There is no evil in the world.

I didn’t bring this up. You are an expert at not answering questions on CAF while reversing the burden of proof.
Your typical ad hominem.
What? That you didn’t answer my question. Instead you asked a question. That is called burden of proof reversal. I love you, I’m just telling you what you’re doing and have done in the past.
