Actually, predestination is Catholic teaching. What is Calvinistic heresy is double predestination, that God predestines some to eternal damnation. But this is predestination, again this is a Calvinistic heresy.

Then again our Lord said:Perhaps infants are simply excluded from either falling short of God’s glory or having attained it. It’s tough to put them in either one of those categories; perhaps they belong in a “not applicable” grouping to whom the meat of the paradigm does not directly apply.
All have sinned AND fall short of the glory of God.
if my nice or her husband (Lutherans) saw that they would probably accuse us of Marian worship…I am glad to see that there are wonderful Lutherans like yourself out there that realize the truth, and honor Jesus’ mother in a similar way. Here’s a Lutheran view of maiology:
Well, I was surprised when I first read the Israelites kept doubting God after all the miracles in Egypt! I’ve found personally it’s easy to doubt even after experiencing amazing answers to prayer in the past.An angel of God spoke with Mary and told her she would give birth to the Son of God. How could she be one of the “relatives/friends” that doubted him? Was it not Mary that told Christ to change the water into wine at the wedding in Cana?
Say you are female (I do not know your gender lol) and you became pregnant while a virgin. An angel from God told you that you would carry Christ. Just that alone would make one believe that nothing is impossible. Let us look at the whole picture of things rather than one verse that can be translated many different way depending on the version of the Scriptures.![]()
And I’ve found personally that doubt in this matter is not of God, though understandable in the world.I’ve found personally it’s easy to doubt even after experiencing amazing answers to prayer in the past.
But without knowing what you are talking about specifically, are we not all assuming here?seems to assume
You would never see that in a Lutheran congregation here. Here’s a Lutheran view of maiology:
It shouldn’t surprise you. We often doubt God even today. Where one goes wrong is assuming the Mother of Christ did the same. She could have said no to God. She could have not went to Egypt when told, etc…etc, but we see in Scripture that she did all that God asked. She was faithful! All Christians should agree on this issue.Well, I was surprised when I first read the Israelites kept doubting God after all the miracles in Egypt! However that said, after reading up on the subject I’ve concluded that from the passage it cannot be concluded Mary was one of the relatives mentioned in the earlier verse so I will retract this argument

Thank you for retracting your argument. I believe it is safe to say that she never doubted who her Son was and the mission before Him. When He was beaten and nailed to the cross, she never doubted who He was.
I think you are mistaken here, ozellis. Kathleen Gee has an exquisite and correct understanding of the IC.It does not relate to how she conceived Jesus as Kathleen Gee seems to assume in her post.

Nice to see that from non Catholics.![]()
And not in us duly baptized and confirmed/chrismated?The Holy Spirit is present through Mary.
Oh for sure, I just thought perhaps if an actual photo was shown and understanding that this isn’t some strange idea outside of Gods Kingdom. it may add perspective. I’m digging deep in other words. And not in us duly baptized and confirmed/chrismated?
