No it is not.
Not if you think a Catholic Christian kneeling in front of an icon or statue, praying to God is idol worship but a protestant kneeling in front of a Bible praying to God is not.
My position that neither is idol worship is consistent with Scripture. Yours position that one is idol worship and the other is not is inconsistent and judgemental.
