Unless you are being sarcastic and I just don’t see it; I don’t believe Follow Yeshua meant what he said as a compliment. Talk of a one world religion and an era of peace sounds along the lines of rapturists beliefs about the end time where they believe the Catholic Church will play a prominent role in ushering in the Anti-Christ and the end-times… Or something along those delusional lines.

Of course FY is completely right in his assessment that the Church will ultimately win because we know how it ends; Christ wins.

I do not adhere that all the good christians will be taken away. I will be here with you guys in the end as well and I will lose my head for my testimony… This is my last post on CAF and everybody has been good to me. I needed to come back and see somethings and I’m ready to move on. I thank Yah for all of you guys and I continue to pray for your safety and well being. Things will intensify on earth soon and of coarse you all know the story about that. Remember if you harden your hearts and stop asking Yah for truth that is a bad direction for us all. Let us all continue to look for truth under every rock, crevasse, mountain top and the valley low.

Mary is Coming soon. I warned you.

Mk 15:40 has a third Mary being the mother of two of these “brothers”. She seems to be the forgotten Mary in the Bible. Your logic falls apart with true study of scripture.

Some important points.

No where in the Bible does it state that everything has to come from the Bible. Jesus even warns us against memorizing particular verses. Because verse can be taken out of context if not compared with other verses. The Bible says we are to not contradict what is in it. That is different than creating a belief that states everything has to come from the Bible. Also, the Bible was not completed in full form for a few centuries after the death of Christ. The followers till that date could not have followed something before its existence. Especially the ones alive before Paul even became a Christian.

Jesus didn’t speek Greek. Adelphos is a Greek word. The Ariamic word and its use in the time period included cousins and other relatives. Word usage changes in time. Words we use in our own language have changed over time. When reading the Bible you can’t go by the Greek meaning and over ride what it meant at the time in the spoken language.

Point three. I’m tired and going to bed!

Point Four - if I may add:
The Greek word "Adelphos" in the Septuagint - which Jesus and the Apostles all studied from - has a much more liberal use than it was originally intended.
For example:
**In Gen. 14:14, Lot is called Abraham’s "brother", even though he was the son of Haran, Abraham’s brother (Gen. 11:26–28). **

In Gen. 29:15, Jacob is referred to as the "brother" of his uncle Laban.

Brothers Kish and Eleazar were the sons of Mahli. Kish had sons of his own, but Eleazar’s daughters married their "brethren," the sons of Kish - who were actually their cousins (1 Chr. 23:21–22).**

In ALL cases - the word, “Adelphos” is used.

In my dialogue, I admit that I will defend my faith as you do and if that means disagreeing with your beliefs, then that’s what happens. This is the non-Catholic forum right? I didn’t see anything that said that we must come here to be converted or reverted in my case. This is all about talking and discussing and sometimes vehimately disagreeing, but don’t go making unfounded accusations or trashing other peoples beliefs; it doesn’t bode well for you as a Catholic to do that, remember that.

You didn’t back it up with any information or proof - just an ad hominem attack - so don’t pretend to be so noble as to have only come here to "dialogue". That’s rubbish.

When you want to have dialogue about the subject of this thread - Protestants and Mary - then let’s have dialogue.

FYI, I’m not anti-Catholic. I do disagree with some of the teachings of you and your church. I hope that is clear and you won’t accuse me of this again.​

Well, it seems to me that Elvisman is the only one backing up his statements with sources! He is the only one who is on topic defending Catholic beliefs! This is getting rather old. We should either move on in the discussion at hand…or ask for this thread to be closed. Please choose.

Here you are with nothing but berating for me again. What is it with you? You haven’t proven anything here. All you do is reiterate what the Catholic church says on a subject and call it proof. That’s not proof at all. You are no saint my freind. You just stir it up and you love doing it.

I’ll answer that even though what I said to you obviously didn’t getting through. You have little to no respect for her. You look at her as a normal human; stained with sin…almost as though people are given the opportunity to give birth to the King of the Universe everyday! You overlook everything having to do with her. That’s where we can start. Any disagreement thus far?
