To deny the possibility of Eucharistic (or any other) miracles would be to deny God’s ability and desire to intervene for the Chruch Militant. One doesn’t have to be RC to believe that.

In my experience, many non-Catholics have a tendency to be really freaked out by the Eucharistic miracles. I have some theories as to the reasons for this; the main one being, for someone who has been taught that the “Lord’s Supper” is just a symbol, a Eucharistic miracle can be a real shock, engendering the same feelings of revulsion expressed by the disciples who left Jesus in John 6:60-66. They are convinced that Jesus didn’t really mean we are supposed to eat Him, so the Eucharistic miracles must be denied, explained away, rejected.

heheheeh…I often say to friends after posting, it’s so quiet I can hear the crickets chirp. FYI… I’m stealing your pics!

As for the miracle question, I do believe in miracles, have never heard of this one, read the link and EEEEEEKKKK!!!

And did anyone actually eat this? Is this supposed to be changed to real flesh and blood when inside a person?

As a little girl I freaked and refused communion in a Baptist Church because in my mind it was cannibalism. I did not realize that some religions believe it is not just symbolic. Not trying to be offensive, it just kind of creeps me out.
