Lutherans started about 500 yrs ago… the others are even newer… and all began by mere humans… who disagreed with the pope and with ea other…
Doesn’t that bother you??
Doesn’t that bother you??
You DO understand that most protestants don’t believe that their belief system was started by ANYONE other than Christ, don’t you?Lutherans started about 500 yrs ago… the others are even newer… and all began by mere humans… who disagreed with the pope and with ea other…
Doesn’t that bother you??
He was here physically to lead Peter and the Apostles to preach to others to follow, AND obey Him.You DO understand that most protestants don’t believe that their belief system was started by ANYONE other than Christ, don’t you?
He doesn’t have to be here physically to lead someone to preach others to follow Him.
It should bother them immensely, but for some reason apparently it does not. I wonder if Protestants think of all of Protestantism as one, big, happy, disunited, confusing Church.Lutherans started about 500 yrs ago… the others are even newer… and all began by mere humans… who disagreed with the pope and with ea other…

yes but Jesus said that he woiuld never leaave us… He went to Heaven so it may appear he left us (physcially), Prot believe he is with us spiritually. Catholics, however, KNOW that he is with us physically, in t he Real Presence…You DO understand that most protestants don’t believe that their belief system was started by ANYONE other than Christ, don’t you?
He doesn’t have to be here physically to lead someone to preach others to follow Him.
But does He HAVE to be here physically? He was here physically to lead Peter and the Apostles to preach to others to follow, AND obey Him.
& now he is here physically in the Real Presence, the Eucharist. He was here physically to lead Peter and the Apostles to preach to others to follow, AND obey Him.
Remember, Jesus meant everything He said literally, just like the rest of the Bible, except everything Catholics teach… Like when He said “This is my Body” and “This is my Blood”, and when He said “you are Peter and upon this Rock I will build my Church”, and when He said “the gates of hell shall not prevail against” His Church. It should bother them immensely, but for some reason apparently it does not. I wonder if Protestants think of all of Protestantism as one, big, happy, disunited, confusing Church.
It is laughable, though, when they accuse the Holy Catholic Church of being man-made, when in fact they - each and every one of them - are.
It really comes down to this: Is Christ head of His Church or not? If Christ is head, then the historic Church which developed is what he built. There is no 1,000+ year gap.
I’ve never understood how Protestants can say that Christ is the head of their Church, unless they mean in some symbolic, figurehead sense.
Amen.& now he is here physically in the Real Presence, the Eucharist.
yeah, you wouldn’t tend to think Jesus would “leave us” for a 1000 yr vacation, huh??It really comes down to this: Is Christ head of His Church or not? If Christ is head, then the historic Church which developed is what he built. There is no 1,000+ year gap.
yeah, that’s it…I’ve never understood how Protestants can say that Christ is the head of their Church, unless they mean in some symbolic, figurehead sense.
That’s not Jesus or the Holy Spirit talking to them. They’re usually just delusions of grandeur.yeah, you wouldn’t tend to think Jesus would “leave us” for a 1000 yr vacation, huh??although, knowing how humans can be… he probably DiD feel he needed one…
yeah, that’s it…
don’t you think our physically-present Jesus is better than their not-so-physically present Jesus??![]()
spoken like someone who has never been in His physical Presence…But does He HAVE to be here physically?
How do you confirm that such people as claim they’ve been called to preach have actually been called to preach? And is preaching all that they have been called to do?But does He HAVE to be here physically?
Lucky for those who were here when He walked this earth, but it doesn’t mean He can’t talk to and lead others to preach…
You are going to believe what you are going to believe.
How you can go around with this condescending attitude and think Christ is ok with it is beyond me. Your dislike for protestants close them off from listening to ANYTHING you have to say about a church that looks less and less appealing with every condescending poke at their belief system and Love for Christ.
I poke fun at things that are not true, and we must believe what Christ asks us to believe. We care very much, and have been trying to bring our Protestant separated brethren back into the fold for as long as they’ve broken away. But what do you care…
yeah it is kinda strange… how - apparently - the Holy Spirit can get it wrong sometimes… I mean… all those different contradicting beliefs and practices… you would think that they would look at that and immediately see that Something aint right here… but when you point out this kind of thing (to SOME)… they just… argue with you even when they have no argument… Maybe it is pride that tells them they just can’t possibly have been wrong all those years (??). But thank God for the ones who are open-minded… who love truth more than their pride…Don’t you know whatever Protestants would like to believe in their big mosaic of total-disagreement over one text was inspired by the Holy Spirit?
.
I go into the presence of the Almighty and ask if this is who He wants me to listen to…How do you confirm that such people as claim they’ve been called to preach have actually been called to preach? And is preaching all that they have been called to do?
So Christianity is of man-made origin…good to know.Lutherans started about 500 yrs ago… the others are even newer… and all began by mere humans… who disagreed with the pope and with ea other…
Doesn’t that bother you??
Apart from wishful thinking and/or some sort of burnin’ in the bosom, what is that based upon? You DO understand that most protestants don’t believe that their belief system was started by ANYONE other than Christ, don’t you?
How does He do this in a way that is clear and obvious to everyone in the room?He doesn’t have to be here physically to lead someone to preach others to follow Him.
Oh my goodness! You are SOOOO right… I am an idiot who has not way of producing a smart or intelligent thought in my pea brain…How do you confirm that such people as claim they’ve been called to preach have actually been called to preach? And is preaching all that they have been called to do?

Look at the Scriptures, and meditate on what Our Lord says from a Catholic perspective. You’ll see how they make much more sense.
No, I don’t believe you talk to Satan, I just believe that you are confusing the True Church and Fullness of Christianity with good messages. Even atheists have positive, inspiring messages. But that’s all Protestant churches have, because they cannot claim to be the Church of Jesus Christ. However, the Catholic Church has empirical evidence to show that She is the continuing Church of Jesus Christ. Once you have that proof, you must believe what Our Lord says of this Church of His - that the gates of hell will not prevail against Her, that She is the pillar and foundation of truth, that He is with Her all days, even unto the end of the world. Complete Christianity isn’t as bad as you think. It goes far deeper than merely indulging positive, inspiring words. It goes down to the very reception of Grace from God through His Church, and being fully connected to Jesus Christ by being a part of His Family.I go into the presence of the Almighty and ask if this is who He wants me to listen to…DUH!
But you believe I talk to Satan probably so, whatever…
Oh my goodness! You are SOOOO right… I am an idiot who has not way of producing a smart or intelligent thought in my pea brain…
Do you like it when a protestant ‘pokes fun’ at Catholicism?
I never intimated anything concerning your intelligence. If I thought you were an idiot, I would rather you remain a Protestant because I wouldn’t believe that you could “handle” Catholicism.I bet you don’t, so why does this give you the right to poke fun at me?
