Scripture contradicts throwing your baby down the stairs. So then it is not Christ who told her that…Yes. My conversion story is linked at the bottom of my signature. It’s full of instances of telepathy and supernatural signs from God, along with tons of confirmation, including Scripture, history, personal experience, and God’s chain of command.
But, without testing the spirits to make sure that they are from God (and how does one do that, without a recognizable authority system?) one could end up like that woman in Oregon who thought that God had commanded her to throw her baby down the stairs, or another woman, who drowned her four children in a bathtub at “God’s” command, or a man who strapped his 6 year old son and three year old daughter into a car and pushed it off of a cliff into the ocean because “God” told him to do it.
Scripture contradicts throwing children off a cliff. Again, not from God.
These were people who were mentally ill, not speaking with God.
