What makes you think I don’t?Then you should follow it.

There is certainly no room in the Catholic Church for any kind of false teachings, or false prophecy. Those who left did so because they were teaching contrary to the teachings of Christ and the Apostles; not because they were in some way too virtuous to associate with ordinary Catholics.Okay I stand corrected. We will use your definition of a prophet. I guess there was not enough room in the RC church for all the prophets so they had to go to other ones.
And just exactly how is doctrinal confusion a good thing?Perhaps that is a good thing.
I never said that you did not. I did not mean to imply that. If that is the impression you got I am sorry. I did not mean it that way. I just meant that you are to follow what God wants. What makes you think I don’t?![]()
Sometimes it was the case and sometimes it was not. There is certainly no room in the Catholic Church for any kind of false teachings, or false prophecy. One is more open to the truth. And just exactly how is doctrinal confusion a good thing?![]()
We are all supposed to do that, which is why we should all be Catholics.I never said that you did not. I did not mean to imply that. If that is the impression you got I am sorry. I did not mean it that way. I just meant that you are to follow what God wants.
Well we have over 36;000 diff protestants denominations today,do you think it is working when we have only ONE truth.Perhaps that is a good thing.
And how does doctrinal confusion lead to being more open to the truth? I should think it would lead people to start thinking that it can’t be found, and they would quit looking. One is more open to the truth.
No your wrong again you see we only have one cathloic Church,====sorry I just had to jump in…There is certainly no room in the Catholic Church for any kind of false teachings, or false prophecy. You believe in Primacy of Peter?
You beleive in the Real presence of Jesus in Catholic Eucharist
You believe in all Seven of the Sacraments because they were instituted by Christ?
You believe that the Marian Dogma’s are true?
You believe that Salvation is a FREE gift from God, that requires cooperation on our part through Faith and Works? Because that is Gods mysterious plan for us.
Shall I continue? All f these are true, all of them are Biblically supported, so either you really do believe these things, or you don’t [can’t] believe in God. Why? Because God affirms each and every one of these truths in his bible.
Welcome home friend
Love and prayers,
******Is this what God says? ***
Hmmm…Let me think…Let me try and remember what Jesus taught…Oh yes!! I remember!!! He said to love one another. We are all supposed to do that, which is why we should all be Catholics.![]()
Of course. The truth is not stiffled if there are more denominations. The Truth is in everyone and any can follow it if they wish.Well we have over 36;000 diff protestants denominations today,do you think it is working when we have only ONE truth.
No. God finds you.And how does doctrinal confusion lead to being more open to the truth? I should think it would lead people to start thinking that it can’t be found, and they would quit looking.![]()
Good******
Each and every statement of belief [and a whole lot more] can be found in Gods Bible, which by the way is [actually was for some 1,200 years] an exclusively Caholic Book
***If you’ve been on this Forum long you have seen the evidence. If not let us know and we’ll be happy to point it out for you.
Love and prayers friend. Your so right: “God can’t lie.”***
Jesus founded the Catholic Church and set Peter up as the Bishop of Rome - our first Pope in a long and unbroken line of successors - so that you and I could be able to learn these teachings of Christ.Hmmm…Let me think…Let me try and remember what Jesus taught…Oh yes!! I remember!!! He said to love one another.
“This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you” John15:12
and also
"But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth: fo whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. John 16:13
John 14:21 “He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves Me; and he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father; and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”
John 1 2:27 And as for you, the anointing which you receive from Him abides in you and you have no need for anyone ot teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things.
John 1 2:29 "If you know that He is righteous you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.
Jesus Christ brought the Kingdom of God so that we all could have life. He brought in the unification of mankind and God. What an incredible gift!!! Now we can serve Jesus in everyone we meet. He who wants drink let him drink!!!Jesus founded the Catholic Church and set Peter up as the Bishop of Rome - our first Pope in a long and unbroken line of successors - so that you and I could be able to learn these teachings of Christ.
It is the Catholic Church under the guidance of the Pope that has safeguarded these teachings through the rise and fall of Empire after Empire, so that, 2,000 years later, we could read those words and understand their meaning.![]()
People must be free to learn of Spiritual things. The days of the bible locked away so that only a few could see are over!! We will never go back!! Christ’s Kingdom is on the advance!!!What Martin Luther had to say). The assertion that individuals can correctly interpret Scripture is false. Even the “founder” of Sola Scriptura (Martin Luther), near the end of his life, was afraid that “any milkmaid who could read” would found a new Christian denomination based on his or her “interpretation” of the Bible. Luther opened a “Pandora’s Box” when he insisted that the Bible could be interpreted by individuals and that It is the sole authority of Christianity. Why do we have over 36,000 different non-Catholic Christian denominations? The reason is individuals’ “different” interpretations of the Bible…
It look like Martin knew something of what he was talking
