have you ever listened to the prayers of the transubstantiation?
“father, may this holy spirit sanctify these offerings. let them become the body and blood of jesus christ our lord as we celebrate the great mystery which he left us as an everlasting coventant”

it’s not magic, the priest is asking the holy spirit to make them holy!!!

It is not my job. I was questioned on my beliefs. All i did was answer the question on this forum. I guess Catholics like to gang up on people by asking them questions on their belief and then turn around and tell the accused person that they think it is their jobs to declare who a person is.

LOL…being defensive are we…I was actually being humerous to a forum thats asks Protestants: What is the oddest thing about Catholicism? I too am baptized Catholic so the subject has everything to do with the post. Is it not true that you had said in another post that “‘you are not the only who came up with the concept that an embryo is not a person until it is born.’” Is that correct? so is it alive or not. When I posted my post I did not refer to anyone specifically, so I did not misquote anyone. Thank you.

Nothing to apologize for, each of us has found a faith that gives us comfort in this world and makes sense to us. We aren’t too far from one another I think…it is Christ Who binds us together in Him.

Everything is about the embryos and not for the people who were born out of a uterus. Shall i get more specific?

this is not correct
the egg is fertilized in the falopian tube, where the sperm and egg meet.
the fertilized egg then travels down to the uterus where it implants to grow.
so the egg can be fertilized for a couple days before it even gets to the uterus.
so then BC acts on the fertilized egg that is already in the uterus when it causes the woman to have her cycle and expel the fertilized egg with the rest of the uterine lining.

Actually the fertilization occurs when the egg and sperm meet/join. At the exact moment a human unlike any other human is formed.

And to your poet to me, I can understand that one has a problem with the CC. I take great offense when someone makes such wild accusations as to take ones person hood for their own gain. I am sorry if you feel gain up on but I will not sit back and let someone make such horrible claims that our unborn are not human and can be butchered up because of these claims.
