Sorry for answering the question, Allhers…We’ve already been all over those with you on other threads.
See post #157 …and no need to be sorry.Sorry for answering the question, Allhers…
I saw it and don’t agree with it… How is that for an answer??See post #157 …and no need to be sorry.![]()
Typical of you.I saw it and don’t agree with it… How is that for an answer??![]()
I think you are a little off here as most contraception with exception such as the morning after pill impedes conception so conception does not take place.Hi Carjack,
So when do you think that embryo “A Human” recieves his or her SOUL?
Carjack, you are forgeting about the Soul. The soul is given by God at the moment of conception.
So if you have practiced Contraception you have committed an abortion, therefore anyone who uses contraception is guitly of a grave sin.
Yes, many believe what you believe but are Totaly Wrong!
Ufamtobie
Peace be with you!Typical of you.
The failure of the Episcopal church to follow the will of God particularly in it’s failure to condemn contraception and abortion, has, I think, resulted in the present disarray and near schism that is now occurring in the (particularly American) EC. This coupled with the ordination of women and the acceptance and promotion of homosexuals and lesbians, has robbed the EC of whatever credibility it may have once had. It is, I think, a moribund body. God does not prosper those who flaunt His laws.Peace be with you!
sedes domi I am sorry I did not mean I read all this wisdom of the fathers during Massl No that it exsisted and the parish I go to has an awesome library that I am free to read all the book all the way back to the very followers of Jesus till today. All the popes wrote is there and not only that be the awesome Catholic web sites that for free you can read the history the very documents of the councils. As a Baptist I knew the Bible was not sure just how it came to be, KIng James fell out of sky one day, there were a few books on Baptist history oh the little red book can’t remeber the name. Now the riches of the faith kept for us all those years,handed down. And anyone can read it. So much riches. A full world the TRUTH to explore, even were the Bible came from. Who knew it was from the Catholics. Sorry didn’t make that clear. It is great to be in THE CHURCH
It prevents a life from being created during what is supposed to be an act that ends in new life being formed.Maybe condoms do not cause abortion and they are a form of birth control. So the fetus/embryo is a “person”, I get it. The condom doesn’t allow sperm and egg to connect, so therefore, it is not causing an abortion.
It is still not a form of abortion. So everytime a married couple has sexual intercourse, it is only for the purpose of forming a life. That is all the sexual union is for. Not to have intimacy with one another.It prevents a life from being created during what is supposed to be an act that ends in new life being formed.
contra=against
conception=fertilisation
New life is not formed without a fertilised egg, so this is a method of preventing the formation of new life.
Intimacy is a secondary use, although admittedly important. God said ‘‘Be fruitful and multiply’’.It is still not a form of abortion. So everytime a married couple has sexual intercourse, it is only for the purpose of forming a life. That is all the sexual union is for. Not to have intimacy with one another.
no it is not causing abortion of course but you are not open to life and trusting God …so here it has to do with how much you trust God’s Will and Help by being open to life. In other words, trust God and let Him guide your life…it does not mean you’ll end up having tons of children…it means you are open to whatever God wants and if He wants 10, you are open and if He want 2 you are open as well…my friend had been trying for more than a year and it still did not happen. His Will and time, not ours. In other words, complete trust and surrender to divine will and help.Maybe condoms do not cause abortion and they are a form of birth control. So the fetus/embryo is a “person”, I get it. The condom doesn’t allow sperm and egg to connect, so therefore, it is not causing an abortion.
No. I know what you mean. But the CCEverything is about the embryos and not for the people who were born out of a uterus. Shall i get more specific?
I agree that a zygote is not an infant. But those are only words that describe stages human development. The zygote is a living thing, seperate from its mother. It is not part of the mother’s body, and it is a living thing… It has to be a living something. It is a living human. Zygote is merely the word we use to describe a human at that stage of life.It is a fertilized egg. Not a baby.
Sure, try this on for size:Any independent sources other than Catholics condeming it?
If it’s not a person in the womb, why do you care if it’s aborted? It’s not a human, according to your reasoning. So what is it you have against abortion?I don’t believe in abortion. So no. A person should not abort their pregnancy.
Look in the mirror. You are a person who spent 9 months sitting in amniotic fluid. Of course that was just at the earliest stages of your personhood. After that your wore diapers and had to be carried around. Food had to be brought to you and fed to you, because if it were just left in front of you, you would have starved to death.I didn’t know a person sits in amniotic fluid all day and is attached to their mom by a cord. I thought that stopped once the embryo/fetus leaves the womb.
