I suggest anyone who thinks contraception is okay should study up on it and not post information that is incorrect. Threre are types of contraception that doesn’t allow the fertiziled egg (embryo) to attach to the cervical wall, which is itself - abortion!!

I find nothing odd about the Catholic Church or it’s teachings.

Life begins at the MOMENT of conception which means it is a HUMAN BEING. The names embryo, fetus …etc are just given for the benefit of different stages of development.

this is semantics. God knows us before HE forms us…to form us, HE puts the rules from step one until your birth day…the step ONE is His rule to form you, something you must not interfere with if you believe HE forms you.

Actually the facts speak different. A child is conceived when the sperm and the egg meet and the child travels to the womb to implant. But hey, thats just the facts.

sorry i did not get this. How do you baptize a child? and how do you get married? we all know it is God who baptizes and bonds in marriage, not the priest, so how do you know you are baptized and married?

agree that He is everything and without Him we are nothing, but how do you reconcile this with the fact that not two humans will agree on everything? do you think that Jesus came so that everyone believes whatever he wants? do you believe that Jesus came to teach things that differ from culture to culture and age to age? when the apostles were attacked by those who were teaching heresies, did they say " ok no problem as long as you believe in Jesus"? or did they travel from church to church and sent letters from church to church to teach what exactly Jesus wants?

“Belief” in doctrines and dogmas are of little use when they do not produce a life which mirrors Christ. Christ Experienced and lived in and through us is more important to us than what is believed about Him. One can hold all the correct “beliefs”, but remain in their sins, and one can be ignorant of the deep things of the Spirit, yet in faith receive His Cleansing and be brought into Newness of Life…“walk in the Light as He is in the Light”, is more important than “believeing” what a particular priest or minister teaches…“Truth” is something to be lived out before all to see instead of simply affirmed vocally, which offers no real change in one’s heart. “Though I speak with the tongue of men and angles, and know all mysteries and have all knowledge…without love…it avails me nothing.”

I know Friends beliefs do not “speak to your condition” as they do mine, so I would simply say, live your Catholic faith and walk in the Light and Experience the Fellowhip with Christ for yourself, if you haven’t already.

there may not be out right condemnation, but you could probably search the CDC and other sources like that to find some medical issues with BC. as for condeming it, i think the catholic church has the market cornered

First, I want you (and everyone) to know that I’m not debating your answer. When someone asks for you opinion and you graciously give it, no one should pounce on that opinion.

Sometimes these opinion questions end up being a set-up, and those who are good enough to reply get broadsided.

Anyway, I have a question about your answer. You believe that Chirst is present in the Eucharist. We agree on that.
