He listened to God and built the ark, the ark didn’t just appear one day. Noah had to actually do something and have faith at the same time.

If there were Protestants at the time they’d have likely refused to go on the ark on the grounds that they had faith that God would save them from the flood and miss the whole point that the ark was God’s way of saving them

The ark was only the tool that God used to rescue him and his family. Noah’s faith and obedience were what saved him spiritually. The result of his faith and obedience brought about the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Noah had a personal relationship with God. He walked with God He didnt need a magesterium to tell him what to believe nad not believe. He believed God as every God fearing man and woman should.
Where the Catholic Church fails is that they teach to follow the magesterium when they should teach how to walk with God.

Catholics have a more ‘personal relationship’ than anyone else with God - we take His literal flesh and blood, and no bread or wine, into us in the Eucharist. We literally, by doing so, BECOME His body, something He said was impossible for one who hadn’t eaten His flesh or drunk His blood.
Furthermore we listen to HIS voice in a unique way. He told the Apostles ‘who hears you hears Me, who rejects you rejects Me’. And they passed His voice and His authority on to their successors by laying on of hands, as even Simon Magus recognised their ability to do, in a line traceable to the present day Bishops of the Catholic (and Orthodox) Churches and no others.
No-one who doesn’t listen to these successors of the Apostles has that sort of direct access to Christ’s own authentic voice.

I can appreciate your feelings. I disagree with you that the Magesterium doesn’t teach me how to walk with God.
My walk with God is so much BETTER since becoming Catholic. Prior to that, I wasn’t sure HOW to walk with God at all and if I asked a Protestant, I’d get a different answer, depending on which chuch they attended. It was very confusing.
I thank God I am Catholic and when I sing Amazing grace, I can’t help but think of this: I once was lost (in a mess of confusion) but now I’m found (in HIS Church) was blind but now I see!!!

Many Catholic Churches prohibit Amazing Grace because it was written by a protestant. I know my brothers parish in Northern Virginaia does.I can appreciate your feelings. I disagree with you that the Magesterium doesn’t teach me how to walk with God.

So what if Noah had all kinds of faith that God would deliver him from the flood, but just sat around and twiddled his thumbs? What if he didn’t build the ark? He would have drowned.

Exactly! You are spot-on, Warrior.
However, the fact is that the Ark was God’s chosen vehicle for the salvation of Noah. God could have beamed him up in the air like something out of Star Trek if He had have wanted to, but He chose to use the Ark and Noah obeyed. The first letter of Peter tells us that Noah was saved through water, which represents baptism. But what does the Ark itself represent? Well here’s the point you’ll disagree with me on (I’m guessing): the Ark represents the Catholic Church (or “catholic church”, if you must). This belief has existed since the earliest of times (cf Cyprian, Jerome and especially Augustine, chapter 26).
