Give the rhetoric a rest, friend. I can defend my faith all day long - historically, theologically, sacramentally - else I wouldn’t be ordained in it for 20 years, so there’s no discomfort there. But I can defend my faith without denigrating yours.Taking the victim role will not do you any good O.S… No one here has remotely bashed you or anyone else on this thread. The problem is that the protestant view cannot be defended long before the walls start crumbling (that’s why I am a convert) and that is uncomfortable, I understand. But you are not being victimized. Growth hurts, so does the truth at times. A fine piece of China does not get that way without much pain in the kiln.
Your little jabs are nice tries, but are actually making my point - and destroying yours. I do agree with you that the truth hurts.
In an increasingly secular world, it makes more sense for Christians to seek ways to build up the Body of Christ, instead of tearing it down.
