No , it is during Mass, but maybe there are different habits according to the country we are in ??? ( I’m in France ) …Actually my (Methodist) pastor requires all of the young people who are being confirmed, to attend a Catholic mass…He takes them as a group, to a Saturday afternoon/evening vigil mass.
It is considered to be part of becoming a mature Christian, to attend the services of other Christians, and to understand how others worship…
PS: I have never in my life ever even heard of a “Hail Mary” being said in a Catholic mass…:nope:Not any that I have ever been to, not any that I have ever heard about from others. It sounds more like maybe attending a special prayer service outside of mass to me…![]()
I’ve heard this prayer said EACH time I’ve been to Mass , but so I deduced it is said at every Mass but maybe I’m wrong … but it must be said quite often, or … do you think they did it just because they knew there was a Protestant there ?
