Christ instituted a church Tweety, this I can follow with assurance because they assembled it and measured it to be true, long before other modern interpretations decided they were superior, especially the solos of scripture.

Sorry fro not bringing this up ealier Dokimos: but there are married clergy within the latin rite…these are persons who were married before the decsion to become a priest in the Catholic church. Most of such persons are converts though.

You really don’t know what you are talking about…Jesus ate with all kinds of sinners and ate what they had…He said it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles you but what comes out of the heart. Jesus did not hold the gentiles to the Jewish law and set the jews free from it. The rules were done away with then…do you even know how many laws the Jews have??/ Jesus set them free from all of them…When He was here…the"CC" had nothing to do with it. And by the way…Peter was teaching the Jewsa, and Paul the gentiles…You are a gentile and so is the CC…why are you following Peter instead of Paul…Maybe he should have been Pope…The Jews don’t have a Pope…COLOR=“DarkOrchid”]I quess thats why Jesus is the Rock
 
It would be very difficult not to be preaching 'Galatians 1:8-9 when you are reading the words of Jesus and the apostles. There is no curse on me or Tweetymom…I hope there is not one on you. You see you do not just follow the Word of God you also have dogmas etc that the CC seem to think they can add to the Bible. Re read the last chapter in Revelation. And by the way I heard today that the CC is rewritting the Mass…Interesting.

I do not have anamosity towards the CC, I simply disagree and when someone says something I agree with or think they are being picked on I say something. I think Dokimas tries to be very kind, and is mocked and the things he/she has said have been made light of.

I am part of that Bride I hate to tell you !!! I have Never belittled Him which is all that matters, and did not belittle His followers. however you have, you don’t even consider us His followers…you see we are His followers as well. I am so sorry that your mind is so closed and you do not understand. I will pray for you. loved your chubbies.

Indeed. To the extent that a Christian, whom we view as our Brothers and Sisters in Christ if they’ve been baptized, rejects His Body is the extent that they reject Him.

We do not serve a decapitated Christ. He and His Body are One and the same! 👍

I believe you are a Christian sister. I certainly consider you a follower of His. I am troubled by the rejection of His Church as an institution but I do not look at you as an unbeliever because of it.

I believe His bride is the Church, the Catholic Church. In order to have full communion with Him you need to have relationship with His Church.

As far as the chubbies go, I was just following suit. Glad you liked them though. 😉
